@JosephStalin11 Judging by your name you enjoy a bit of history and strategy. If you do not have access to Civ IV - i.e a good enough PC (which I don't at the moment for example) and are 360/PS3 only, GO FOR IT! Otherwise yes, stick to Civ IV on PC and wait for V. Its the same game as Civ IV but more basic, shorter games etc.. I loved the demo and my PC is dead so I'm getting this bad boy next week.

I highly suggest you play ranked matches because no one ever plays player matches. Also military might is the greatest victory, if you give opponents time to progress (especially the npcs) you will get crushed,

You dont have to have EVERY tech just the ones that lead up to space flight wright down techs all the way up to space flight then you can build a space station and fly away like a panzy (JK) to another planet

I got the space flight tech researched, built the apollo program, built the fuel, habitation, etc. and I launched it at 2098. It's stupid, the game should let you play past 2100 AD! >:(

i agree too but ive done tech win by 1800's all you have to do is get LOADS of science make sure you build unvirseties and libraies and also make like 1-2 cities PURE SCIENCE and you have a quick win

I tried Warlord, which is a kinda hard, but Ive notice that is harder if you try being ROME. than THEBES.

I've Achived in this demo Victory over ATHENS, ROME, found 2 other cities besides THEBES.A Gallion, Richness and citizens sophisticaed.
