The first/blond #2 wanted a promotion, so he thought up a plan of assassination against older #2 involving #6 and eventually bringing harsh discipline on innocents in the village. Blond#2 would act like he was trying to stop the assassination, by using the doctored footage of #6 warning the past #2's. Moreover,blond #2 would get his promotion or rewards.
