I think a lighter flywheel would make it sound a bit better. Not only would it be more happy to rev, but they tend to make changes in engine load more audible, giving a more sophisticated and mean sound. :)

a doch engine could have 4 valves per cylinder, but also, for example, in an inline 4 engine, it can have one cam for exhaust, and one cam for inlet, or 8 valves

I know what dohc is just what is the point in having it for only 2 valves per cylinder.

@superfunnyman123 Because you get the spark plug in the center and hemispherical combustion chamber. My old Suzuki GS motorcycle also has dohc 2 valves, along with several others, e.g. old Jaguars. This engine has many similarities to an old Tatra V8 engine.

Wow, it looks like there are problems with oil control at the piston rings. These small engines seem to have this problem to some degree. Gary Conley solved most of the oil control problems in his new mini engine by drilling holes in the side of the pistons to let the oil drain back to the pan instead of being pumped past the compression rings to the combustion chamber. This might help here too. Nice engine, I like the design.
