Too bad the company went under cuz pple didn't buy this game :S. A sequel would have been awesome. U can't make great innovative video games anymore in today's economy, cuz now it's all about bottom lines and profit margins and shit like that. Money ruins everything...
They do not have master servers anymore. I am trying to start a network using Hamachi for Nexus. Download free Hamachi client and join a network named "Nexus Reborn". Pass it along, maybe we can revive this great game.
easy just fit all of your ships with bbl E shells and 2 magma or volcano plasma guns (can't remember do you unlock volcano at that point :p) and put 1 plasma/volcano on each of your destroyers
you can chose evvrythink weapons shield engine electrisity fighters evrythink :) !Ok dowload a skirmish from the web side of the game or if you want make a log in multiplayer mode there is only 1 map with bots picture is a battleshipe read the information of the map the bot it's a AI !!! so nice play anbd try to complete the campain on expert :P
if you want a great scifi RTS game, try haegemonia. It's older than homeworld 2, but has better gfx and gameplay. There you also have epic battles, with gigantic explosions. The amount of detail in that game is huge. Some of mithis's devs are from the makers of haegemonia.
Wow thats a very cool vid for Nexus. Mayby Nexus1 didn't sell as much as they hoped for. There are people who love it but the general public won't turn they're hand for it, so regretable. I would like to know what story it would have been in Nexus2.
Good work. Don't forget that FRAPS can record in-game sounds to make the battle scenes more dramatic.
This game could have been so much more had it been actually supported; but all the stuff that didn't make it into the game can be glimpsed in the pre-rendered cutscenes you put here.

By the way, if you read Marcus' little "diary," you'll discover the Angelwing was made by the same "Creator" race that programmed Angel and engineered humanity.

ive tried everything, every possible ship config, i just cant stop them in time before they destroy the scout ship.
