  • This movie should of won its nominations.

  • Jk is the best! my favorite author of all times!

  • I MISS HARRY POTTER :"(

  • Dis movie wld alweis remain on ma mind

  • @Buzzer5000 No, he's not. James is Harry's father. Don't you see the resemblance between them? And also, Lily didn't cheat on James.

  • Snape Best Character EVER!!!

  • Isn't snape harry real dad.

  • @constance380 no...

  • @constance380 you're a dumbass

  • PS: For haters :

    Look the disslike bar

    Look at your pennis

    No Difference :)

  • Snape's story is what made this movie. Everything else was good but a little off-key with inconsistent pacing and a disappointing ending. David Yates sucked the life out of Harry Potter, as much as I enjoyed all of them, this one was overwhelming but flawed.

  • ALL MY FRIENDS THINK IM CRAZY CUZ I WANA MARRY SOMEONE JUST LIKE SNAPE WITH "THE VOICE" and all

  • Youtube is not the place for stating opinions, but I can't help myself here: Snape was still a remarkably unpleasant person.

  • @anorexicwatermelon His loyalty was to Dumbledore, and to the good side of the conflict, and he played his role exceptionally well in the grand plan. He experienced powerful love and lived to the end to protect its integrity, However, he was unpleasant, cruel and sometimes downright horrible to Harry and to many other people, and his behavior, even if it did have ulterior motives that were ultimately good, was atrocious.

Just because he's on the good side doesn't make him a good guy.

  • The look on Snape's face at 2:49, to me, actually betrays how tortured his soul is for having to take Dumbledore's life (even if it was planned) and hard it is for him to be hated for it. Instead of his usual arrogance towards Harry, he looks like a truely broken man, forced to keep his true intentions hidden. Alan Rickman is remarkable actor.

  • Im inlove.

  • There's no way Alan Rickman isn't going to win the Oscar. I'm an academy member and I'll vote for him. That's a promise.

  • @Shyreenify omg, thank you but seriously this just brought tears to my eyes! thank you so much!! :[ harry potter deserves some recognition.

  • Love it!!!!!!!

  • Snape is in fact Harry Potters father!

  • Whoah wha whoah whoah whoah wait a sec... snape killed dumbledore? WHAAA?

  • Severus Snape: hes a badass

  • Snape looks like Ozzy Osbourne :o

  • I never know what to think about him, or he was bad or good, but I was so glad he wasn't what everyone thought he was. he was the most courageous caracter of the whole story (except from harry, ron and harmoinie).

  • @jazzysach spoiler alert!!!!!!

  • FRED DIES IN THIS MOVIE! FRED AND GEORGE WERE THE BEST :(. NOW ITS ONLY GEORGE!!!!! IM GONNA GO CRY NOW!!!!!!

  • JK Rowling = Best author EVER!!!!!

  • i wish he would've been with lily. i absolutely despise james with all my being

  • When I heard of Snape's story I cried for 7 HOURS!!! HE LOVED LILY!!! NOT JAMES POTTER!!!! Snape is good... He always was... At least I thought.... T_T

  • I ALWAYS KNEW HE WAS GOOD!

  • awsum movie

  • I love his voice (L)

  • Alan Rickman is a really good actor and he deserves to win an award for his portrayal of Snape. I've never read the books but now that I've watched all the movies I might. I have to agree with those who say the film script muddied the character a bit - the first time I saw it I thought they were trying to say Snape was actually Harry's father. I had to rewind and watch the ending again.

  • The books had lots of clues showing that Snape was a good guy and that he would die to defend Harry. The movies kind of messes up things and tries to hide the clues but if you read the books you can tell that Snape's reaction to Harry is not quite right and the whole hatred of his dad does not make sense. So you begin to wonder how he felt about Harry's mom and it made more sense as you read the books. Especially after Remus described her and his time at Hogwarts.

  • @lisaannejane2 you have a good point, but how does his hatred towards James not make sense?

  • @lisaannejane2 Bad wording on my part. I meant to say that usually when someone's reaction is just too much, like Snape's was to Harry, something else is going on. Of course his hatred towards James makes sense. Snape could not differentiate between Harry and James because they looked alike except for having his mother's eyes, She says it so often that you know there has to be a reason.

  • OH my love Allen Rickman <3

  • alan rickman desurves 6 awardsfor this movie

  • Comment removed

  • It answers to you, and you only

  • And one more: The great wizard Albus Dumbledore is dead. Severus Snape, the most goth of professors and Voldemort's minion — portrayed with brilliant, unyielding severity by Alan Rickman — rules Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Brilliant, unyielding severity. I love that and so true

  • My favorite review Part 2

That Snape has proven worthy of that comparison is partly a tribute to Ms. Rowling, but that he has become such a brilliant screen character is due to Mr. Rickman, who helped elevate a child’s tale of good and evil into a story of human struggle.

  • My favorite review Part 1 Finally too there is Mr. Rickman, who as Snape, Harry’s longtime nemesis, lifts the movie to its expressive high point. First seen standing in a window shaped like a coffin, Snape enters gravely, a picture of death. Pale and unsmiling, his black hair framing his white face like mourning crepe, he has always suggested Laurence Olivier’s Richard III, an ominous thought with children in the vicinity.

  • Wow, I've been reading some old articles on Rickman. I had no idea he was such a sex symbol in Britain. All this talk about him being sexy and dangerous and all the weak-kneed girls begging for first row seats at his plays. At least I know I'm not crazy. Rickman's sex appeal is like getting hit by an atomic bomb. I'm thankful I'm not the only one, apparently, who has suffered its effects. I had no idea this was so widely accepted. Felt like my own dirty little secret LOL

  • I think the idea that Snape didn't fight back against McGonnagall because he was scared or something is so silly. He had nerves of steel; faced down the Dark Lord who could reduce Lucius and Bellatrix to whimpering pups all the while knowing if his secret got out he'd be dead or worse. He simply didn't want to fight with his friend Minerva. Only some kind of bias against Snape or toward Minerva would make someone think otherwise. Cheers!

  • "how good or bad is snape?" she's such a freaking genius. if she lived in the u.s. now as a teenager she would go to the Davidson Academy

  • they used underworld for a lot of this music...

  • When we watched the first film or the first book we hated Snape. We hated him more and more with every book (or movie). We though he was a traitor, a villain, Voldemort's best man, an enemy. We hated him....And now seeing his memories we started loving him. Our eyes started seeing good in him.... ;( To me he was the best book character ever... He had only Dumbledore, everyone else though he was bad, he had to protect Harry, but nobody knew he was, he had to live, no matter he lost his love... :(

  • the 4 ppl that disliked this are muggles -_-

  • @iheartkevinwu or maybe bunch of sparkling vampires

  • @iheartkevinwu fan of twilight series :D

  • Yes is excelent

  • Alan Rickman is the greatest actor!

  • Everytime I watch something about this movie I get goosebumps so extreme that it hurts. Is that just me? Someone please back me up cuz I feel lonely...

  • @kwhea14 I feel the same, I think. But it's not only this. There is so much pain in me, I don't know what to say. I have spent so much time with the whole Harry Potter project and of course the actors, especially Alan. Can't believe, that it's over...and I wish, there would be more. More of this time, more of everything...

  • the bot with the lightening scar came alive and stole our hearts u live in our hearts forever

  • After all these years severus?, .- Always

    aww

  • So SAD , I cried soo much - I loove Snape now :'(

  • How dare you stand where he stood! Tell them how it happened that night! How you looked him in the eye, a man who trusted you and killed him! Tell them!

  • I hate how he dies. He dies so tragically, and by the selfishness of Lord Voldemort. And honestly, there is NO better actor than Alan Rickman to play him. I honestly wish he would have been a bigger character, the main one. I hate how Harry IS arrogant, and how he never understands. Snape, he is the BEST character, and his death is SO sad. He is loved beyond recognition.

    Slytherin Forever

    Snape Forever

  • somebody knows the tiltle of the music at 2.21....? thx.

  • KEEP CALM and TRUST SNAPE !

  • nice ending Harry Potter movies. Alan Rickman is fine acting the caretaker of snape what is love this perfectly expressed in this part.

  • I can't remember now whether I thought when I saw the McGonnagal/Snape fight whether it looked like she was outmatched or he was? I assumed he deatheated his way out of there to avoid having to possibly hurt her but maybe she could have taken him as well. She's powerful. That's one of the things that really fascinated me about Harry Potter. Who was really more powerful. We know Dumbledore was and Snape but where would McGonagal fit in on that scale?

  • @GrissomLovesSara J. K. Rowling has stated that Minerva McGonagall was the most skilled witch, and only surpassed by Albus Dumbledore and Voldemort. She has also stated that if Minerva's duel with Severus Snape had not been interrupted by Filius Flitwick (as it was in the book), which made Severus flee, Minerva would have killed Severus within minutes. (:

  • @SelvesteSand Rowling is, of course, entitled to her own storyline, but I find this statement a little hard to believe. Minerva is undoubtedly a very skilled witch, but I would expect her dueling skills to be a bit stale compared to Snape's. After all, he's the one who's been dealing with Death Eaters & doing Voldy's dirty work; one would think that would make him a bit more "battle-hardened" than a witch who's been teaching kids to turn porcupines into pin-cushions for the last few years.

  • @libertarianhillbilly I also think it's important to remember that Minerva was his teacher, colleague, & fellow Order member; I can't help but think Snape would've had a tremendous amount of respect for her. Perhaps that's why I've always gotten the impression that he fled because he didn't want to risk hurting her - an impression that Rickman's performance reinforced. Just my .02; as you can probably guess I'm a Snape fan & prone to bias...

  • @libertarianhillbilly I think he fled because he didn't want to risk hurting her like he did George. But I think that Snape really was good deep down he just let himself be swadded in a moment of weakness. I mean we all let our dark sides take over once in a while. I think he really just wanted a place to belong. That he'd found his place next to Lily but she chose another man and it sent Snape into a downward spiral and sent him to the only place, in his eyes, he had left.

  • @libertarianhillbilly And remember he makes Dumbledore promise him that no one else can ever know. Yet he shows Harry, a little late, but he does show him. I think his final moments show his true character. He gave Harry the part of himself he'd kept hidden for years and years. He was mean to Harry because of the conflicting emotions inside him. Seeing the product of Lily's preferance for another man, when Snape loved her so deeply.

  • There were so many great mometns for Snape over the years and especially in the final movie. Just the way he says 'now' should get an Oscar!

  • I dont care what anyone has to say, Snape was a true and wonderful man. He was so brave and humble, sincere, smart and most importantly, the most loving man you could ever imagine. Of all the times harry accused snape for everything, harry was always wrong. Snapes death killed a little part of me, and i cried for days after finding out about his memories. Snape, if only you were real, and i could hug you <3

  • @AriaMeiGhalili Guh, you just framed it all into a few sentances, love you!

  • @Elvinauk Hahah awww thank you so muchh :3 SNAPE FANS UNITE! <3 ;)

  • @AriaMeiGhalili I feel you... I have loved him since the start of the series.

  • @AriaMeiGhalili THANK GOD I AM NOT ALONE IN MY LOVE FOR SNAPE!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!

  • snape's hair is a wig

  • Dude, McGonagall looks all guilty when Snape tells them not to help Harry

  • 2:27

  • @rubelonly21 i doubt your computer monitor is 3D :)) if you want 3D and stuff go to a theater with 3D

  • ALAN RICKMAN MUST WIN THE OSCAR

the scene he holds and hug the body of Lily

    Broke me into pieces

  • @jnus2 It was an awesome scene, but that wasn't Alan Rickman that played the younger version of Snape. :)

  • @JordoBep IT WAS ALAN RICKMAN im talking about the scene on the house on godric hollow after Voldemort kill lils and james

and Snape came into the house and see that lilys dead

U SHOULD SEE THE MOVIE AGAIN

    :(

  • Omg.I cried in the cinema and I cried now.xD

  • Learn how to make money from the US Debt crisis investmentbabe.blogspot(dot)com/

  • I'm sad to say I still don't quite understand Snape.. I'm still trying to figure out why it was nesaccarry for him to kill Dumbeldore.. /:

  • @Sumser0913 because dumbledore asked him to and made him promise, because if draco had to kill dumbledore draco would have died, and it would mean the dark lord would have full trust in snape, and he could trust him. it was all a plan with dumbledore and snape from the beginning, and if you read the book or watch the movie ' the princes tale' will explain why Snape loved harry!

  • @CrystalCee1 Ive read the book, yet haven't had a chance to see the movie. Why would Draco have died? Why did Dumbledore have to die at all? Why was Snape even interested in the Dark Lord anyway?!

  • @Sumser0913 draco would have died because what they believed is, whoever kills the master of the elder wand e.g.. dumbledore is the master and if draco killed him, draco would be the new master, and oldie would have to kill draco to be the master, but Snape made an unbreakable vowel and also said to dumbledore he would do anything to keep lily safe, so dumbledore asked snape to kill him to save an innocent soul to favour dumbledore, and lily died because voldie gave her a chance to move and

  • @Sumser0913 she never moved and protected harry. Snape was always interested in Defence against the dark arts and that was one thing that broke his and lily's friendship, then he became a death eater, and when he figured out volide was after lily and her family, snape wanted lily to be protected and dumbledore said why not all of them and he said okay protect them all, when lily died snape brought up harry in a sense protected him e.g.. the first movie, the third movie, the forth, well basically

  • @Sumser0913 google all of them to get them in detail limited letters on youtube

  • @CrystalCee1 I understand it a bit more now. Thank you a TON! :D

  • @Sumser0913 Voldemort ordered Nagini, his snake, and the Horcrux, to kill Snape. He thought if Snape killed Dumbledore,Snape would be the owner of the wand, not Voldemort himself. HE told Nagini to kill him, thinking Snape had won over the wand, but Malfoy had Disarmed Dumbledore, so Malfoy was the owner. In the last book,Harry overruled him, so thus keeping that in mind, Harry is the owner of the wand.

  • Snape's first words were "There will be no silly wand waving or foolish incantations in this class."

And his last words were "You have your mother's eyes."

  • Snape is the most thought out and shocking character. J.K Rowling is great

  • No, I'll do it....

  • Snape is my fave, and has been since book 1. And to have my favorite actor play him was HEAVENNNNNNNNNNNNNNN.

  • I cried a lot when Snape died :( he was a good man

  • ITS PHILOSOPHER'S STONE NOT SORCERER'S STONE

  • Alan Rickman Best Supporting Actor nuff said

  • I had already read snapes story in the book and yet this was just WOW in the movie! Couldn't have done it any better, didn't include it all because there was some you just don't need to include in a movie but the Alan Rickmans acting was literally insanely good! It was what made the movie awsome in my opinion and the first real time in the movie I sat there thinking: 'this is epic, what a movie'

  • His story is so beautiful and emotional! And I cry whenever I even think about it!

  • Snape :'( <3

  • What the music play ?

  • Snape is the best character...definitely the one i cried the hardest for...

btw anyone noticed how in the very first movie snape (i mean the character lol) looked younger? he really looks aged in this movie...how sad...

  • I cried when i saw snape's story. Remarkable.

  • i love you my half blood prince <3

  • Snape's face was so heartbreaking when Harry was yelling at him in the Great Hall. Everything he did was so protect Harry and the students of Hogwarts, but he had to pretend he was the bad guy, and be hated.

  • @cpoplover21 really in the last movie he ended up a good guy :O

  • @MsBlinggirl I know, but he never revealed it, he never wanted to be the hero.

  • I never thought this movie would be so intense. It was amazing! I wanted to cry through the entire movie, not because of saddness, but because every scene was just so brilliant and overwhelming. Great job!

  • it is about time alan said something about snape ..he did aan amazing job with this part great vid

  • damn..snape died....fuck you voldemort you ugly 2 faced whore!

  • Voldemort, James Potter, and Sirius Black dislike this video.

  • Alan Rickman was the perfect Snape. I cannot imagine any other actor being able to bring Snape to life like he did. As a whole, Harry Potter is a great story, but the story of Severus Snape was remarkable -- so beautiful and devastatingly sad.

  • @xosilhouetteox was? he IS 4ever :)

  • Hats off to Alan Rickman! He's such a great actor. And Severus is such a great caracter. When I learned everything about him,he won my heart, such a brave man! I liked the film, especially that part when Harry learns about Severus. The only thing that bothered me is that Harry didn't tell Voldemort about true Severus loyality, like he did in the book.

  • Snape is cool.

  • damn at 2:27 from 2:50 I actually got goose bumps from when harry was calling snape out.....amazing acting!
