It's amazing how strong these planes are... inverted flight, flying below 200 feet over the ocean, slamming into Chinese fighter jets... nothing can stop them!
Lol... but if we did this maneuver with the US birds, we'd have to get extra vacuums on post-flight to suck up all the FOD !!!
It wasn't a complete barrel roll. He didn't go 360 degrees. He maybe went to like 120-130 degrees starboard wing down while leveling his climb. But it is still REALLY awesome. I'm a flight engineer on P-3s in the US Navy... we never get to do cool stuff like this.
Looks like he didn't quite get a 360 roll out of this P-3. I've heard of a roll being done but never spoken with anyone who was aboard or seen a video of it. You've had your fun, now go back to flying fighters!
The good old Vikings. I do miss you guys!!!

@dogboy1111 Ups, late answer. They are just he number on the aircarft. As the licence plate on cars. Or what they are called :)

If I'd have been in the NAV/COMM seat filming that, I'd have needed a fresh change of underwear.... ;)

Correct it didn't do a 360...
It rotated about 150 degrees, but then they did something far more impressive: They rotated it back in the other direction to level flight!
Would have been far more easy to continue the roll through 360 degrees, and it would have been less stressing on the aircraft aswell.
