  • man ! really wonderfull ! and thanks for tabs !

  • 6 people broke their fingers

  • When you hammer 8 to 12 on the b string, do you use your first and third finger? I can't see it being possible to use my pinky when the next note is on the 13th fret. That's a big stretch...

  • @thej0hnson You slide with your first/index finger from 8 to 12 on the G string then use your middle finger on the 13th of the B string

  • Wait where are the tabs at? And damn that looks like a finger workout...

  • @thej0hnson should be in the video as speech bubble things bro

  • @hermitette Ha I feel dumb, for some reason those aren't showing up in Chrome so I checked IE and sure enough there they are. Thanks!

  • it looked harder until I tried it lolz gonna use this when my band plays this song

  • amazing....thanks....ciao cheers greetings from italy!

  • @spikelive Grazie mio amico!

  • You don't have the right guitar for this... It sounds too weeping, there was this snackajack guy whos guitar sounded more like the original. But yeah, nice ;)

  • @Anoesj1 Thanks man, though to be fair the original was played on synth keyboard, i transcribed it from the official music book and put it up here as a technique showcase - not as a faithful replication of the synth sound on the track.

  • I nearly have this at full speed but I do the Fm an octave higher.

  • @troykeenanguitar Nice one bro - yeah the Fm sounds cool in the higher octave and you don't have to stretch your hand out so much or move your hand along the neck so far. If you can - post a video response when you're happy with the accuracy.

  • Good Sweep picking!!!

....And you look like Karim Benzema ; )

  • @Kouillou49 Thanks for your encouraging words man!

  • just learnin it now! thanks for the motivation!

  • no problem brother!

  • This is my idea of a good cover for this song. I never thought I would see someone doing it. Nice!

  • WTF, HOW THE HELL

  • Hey what's the timing for this the hammer on/pull off on the g string is confusing as it makes you delay your sweep.. you'd play those as half of the other notes in the arpeggio yeah?

Eg .10th fret on the D string goes for the same length as the 8/12 hammer on (Instead of the slide)

    Ps. what settings on pedal?

    Thnx :)

  • hey, each note is spaced evenly. Its a slide between the notes on the G, not a hammer/pull off. You've gotta time your slide so you get from one note to the next at the same rate that you do when sweeping across the other strings. So the 8/12 slide on the G lasts the same length of time as the roll from the 10th on the A to the 10th on the D - which is done by rolling your middle finger from one string to the next. Its rock hard to play so have patience.

I just used my amp's distortion.

  • fuiyoooo!!!!!!!!!!!

  • superb buddy!!!! and i thought sweeping was what harry corbett did with his hand up a glove puppet!! :) excellent job!!

  • Thanks bro! My technique is to concentrate on feeling the pick stroke through the string with my fretting finger - if that makes sense!? That way you can use your left hand to 'feel' where your pick is during the sweep and it helps keep both hands locked together in time - especially on sweeps that cover 6 strings like this one that involve slides and hammers ons/pull offs. Its very easy to get 'lost' halfway through the sweep. I also practice with the gain rolled right off, so its almost clean.

  • WOW :O!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing!!

  • Awesome.
