  • This is Probably why Obama signed the NDAA.... he knows the areas they're duscussing each have large minority groups in the US and they are gonna "detain" people indefinitely when they start protesting the conflicts to come.... Especially the African Americans...... the majority of whom, I'm ashamed to say, couldn't give two fucks about Africa....

    Stay out of the Motherland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow she is such a socialist yet drinks capitalist made soda and sucks on a capitalist made cough drop. What a bunch a fuckin hypocrites!

  • I don't want to be rude or anything but why is the first speaker drinking pop when she is sick and coughing? Cough drops don't work like that.

  • One of the most effective ways to save lives in Africa would be to send 3million bras. Not only this but we need to have 100s of support workers whose specific job is to persuade African woman to wear bras & put them on correctly. Currently newborns are rejecting the nipple due to the shear droopiness of the tit, this denies the babies valuable nutrition. However perkier breasts will lead to an inevitable rise in shagging thus the spread of HIV because they also refuse to wear condoms over there

  • Industrialisation and the creation of a consumer society obsessed with expansion and more consumption has its roots in the neue sachlichket of humanists - an epoch of science and philosophy in which charlatans created the big idea that spacial consciousness can only be filled with the industry of man. Sparked by the Faustian idea that man has no moral or purpose other than the assent of self over every other living thing governmental systems have evolved that foster elitism as a desirable thing

  • That isa lie boy u Crackers need to stop stealing from the Afrikan peoples.

  • The only reason why the west needs oil is because where the only smart ones that have machines. The TURD world still throws poo at each other for energy sources... us white folks invented the industrial revolution (aka every machine you've ever used)... You guys would need oil to, but cant aren't good with mechanics...

  • @TheBestTroller if the west is so smart it would have sought alternate sources of energy a long time ago. now it's chained to the middle east & has to invent fake terrorism to justify it's involvement there.

  • one of the best videos on youtube & definitely deserves more than 2000 views

  • In regards to this video, I'm sorry for commenting prematurely, as I'm only 20 minutes in, but this video is called Us Imperialism and Oil Politics, yet offers literally 0 proof of any sort of the basic claims this lady wants us to accept. What evidence does she offer that the US is a world wide empire? Does she even define what an "empire" is? Is China an empire? What is her point? How are the countries with oil supposed to use that oil to help their peoples without a profit motive?

  • @superdog797 she uses words like "empire" purely as a pejorative, she's preaching to the converted/deluded.

WE had an Empire, the British Empire, and it was fantastic but the point is you CANNOT have empires any more, it doesn't work. We had to give it up and even cut loose those who REALLY wanted to stay in the empire (Australia, NZ, etc) because post WWII empires cannot be held together.

The closest thing to an empire was the Soviet Union, and that was doomed to implode and did.

  • @superdog797 The US is an Empire, no doubt about that. A Military/Econmic Empire. The US has protectorates and bases around the Globe as well as companies operating in areas around the Globe. They conduct Military actions to maintain, and lately expand this Empire. All Superpowers are Empires.... You dont have to have Kings and Emperors to be an Empire...... Economic agendas backed by military power, creating vassal states and client states, is going to ruin the world and have us in WW3

  • it's just interesting that there is so much unrest in parts of the world rich in oil. strange "coincidence".......the biggest beneficiaries of the so-called war on terrorism are oil companies & defense contractors. they're making billions so they have the money to buy politicians & they have connections with people in the media.

  • @DickOPlenty Yep, a viscious circle of inter-breeding minorities who between them control the wealth of nations by occupying multiple executive posts within public and private sectors of military, media, government, industry and education where they can engineer the blurring of private and public finances to such an extent that the public, kept dumb by the media, are robbed daily to the tune of trillions of dollars. Soldiers would not die for their country if they knew who owned its wealth

  • If you don't know your central asian geography, look at a map while listening to saadia toor break it down and it will be even clearer. Thanks for posting this! (:

  • kinda ruined it for me right at the start when the socialist speaker was sipping on a Pepsi ... ?

  • Comment removed

  • reporters for the mainstream media are "information whores", as someone once told me they're called, because in many cases they are owned by companies that create weapons of war & also they are funded by huge corporations. they will do nothing to stop war or cover any story that will cost them large ad contributions. it amazes me that the average person thinks they're doing them a service giving them information. often they withhold information if it suits their interests

  • yes, i meant to write "yotube".......0_0

  • best upload on yotube i've seen in ages. it's full of information & explains everything that's happening in the world right now.the last comment was disheartening however. the big global interests control all of the media & the anti-war side only has youtube lol

  • this is the real reason for the so-called "war on terrorism": control of the oil supply. 9/11 was the trigger event needed as an excuse to invade the middle east & set up military bases in that part of the world to secure a steady supply of oil to the U.S. & the rest of the west.

  • ROFL They way the video is frozen before you even press play.

  • I agree with the gentleman, 1.21.42, who worried about how to deliver the message to the mainstream media. These facts are ignored! Analysis? Evaluation? Not at all! All we hear is a rehash of official and business rhetorics! And the public is not allowed to have another perspective in the general debate. Lack of time, unfortunately, did not allow the pannel to really adress this important issue. All members of the pannel are to be complimented for a clear and illuminating presentation. Thanks!

  • its not just about oil, or prices, it is definately about control ! american interests are selfish as regards mutual sharing of an exhasustable resource, american consumes most of what is a limited natural resource ! this has little resonence in modern world greed ! the ultimate resolution is total enialation of all living things ,as well as the planet = HOPEFULLY

  • Do you modern-day Commies still HONESTLY believe that the Soviet Union represented all that was good and true and pure and right? That the crimes against humanity committed by the Khmer Rouge regime and the Chairman Mao are nobler somehow than similar crimes committed by Hitler and Mussolini - or were not even crimes at all? Do you really think that the US's economic system is inferior to, say, Cuba's? That the US didn't have the moral high ground during the Cold War? How sad.

  • @TavaresDelanis do you know the background of Mao and stalin did you know why they took arms against Imperialism (russia tzar and chiense imperial court ) they wanted a Better futur for their own people ) why they wnet Nutz because another "foreign imperialism" came and push their interest through their throat

yeah The american Imperialism Those country would work betetr without you and your stubborness to bring " the Universal capitalism wo0rld so we can control everyone"

  • the real social economic issue is why the hell do we run an economy on a non renewable energy source. it is an old and stupid paradigm .

When America bites the dust in about 100 years, the history book will write that they should have curbed their enthusiasm for procreation and this so-called power.

Cleopatra once had power, in her day. Now she's a 3000 year old piece of beef jerky that had all her BLING JACKED!

  • @flirtwd because America DOESN'T NEED TO RENEW IT YET!

I mean are you ACTUALLY SUGGESTING any country should have ALWAYS used renewable resources and not for a second utilised the VERY convenient fossil fuels and/or nuclear power?

There is not enough hydro-electric power, still solar power is not mainstream and should we have never used petrol driven cars? Never used coal powered trains?

    -

You're living in a fantasy world.

  • @flirtwd at rate as it goes I think USA will crumble before 100 years

  • Why the fuck do I keep getting recommend these shit straw man debates.

This is nothing but a Kangaroo court, no one at all even beginning to argue America's case and everyone so clearly biased against that side.

All I see here are closed minds trying to rationalise away the simple truth that America is a world power and if it isn't, then China is. Who wants the PRC running the world and setting the global agenda?

  • @Treblaine The US has been pursuing a policy of World Domination thru economic/financial machinations and military force. They have subverted democracies, assassinated democratic leaders, bribed, corrupted. It's well documented in books like Killing Hope by W'm Blum and Confessions of an Economic Hit Man by John Perkins. Wouldn't you prefer a more democratic world order in which each nation's sovereignty and the UN is respected, in which humanity and the environment thrived, for a change?

  • @joefriendly "World Domination"?!??! What, I think you mean just "become rich" which apparently a crime according to some people.

News Flash: There was this little thing a while ago called THE COLD WAR! The USSR (+ ComBloc) were funding revolutions and regime changes for ACTUAL global domination. USA just intervened to prevent this.

And CLASSIC weasel logic implying "western businesses" and "US Govt" are the same entity under the common label "America". That's just conspiracy bollocks.

  • @Treblaine Sounds like you did not look at the books recommended. You do have plenty of company in your misperceptions, like those fools that swallow the lies of the mainstream media, especially Fox!. The Cold War was cooked up by the US, for example, with the aim of bringing down the Soviet Union, which it did manage to accomplish by creating the Taliban in Afghanistan. Basically, US mastery of the world has been destructive, cruel, cynical, criminal. It seems to be coming to an end.

  • @joefriendly Hmm, calling my reasonable concerns "mispercpetions" is logic right out of a communist "Re-Education Camp"... but without whipping me with bamboo sticks there is no way I nor anybody is going to buy it.

Fox is a JOKE but every network - every aspect of the media - is disgustingly biased, they play "fanboy" to their audiences' partisan politics. Avoiding consensus.

    -

But you're even worse: "America cooked up the Cold War"... what. the. fuck. Did America build the Berlin Wall?!?!

  • @Treblaine One glaring misperception is your seeing mainstream media as following rather than leading our misinformed public. Beyond my recommending books, googling Cold War and checking out Wikipedia's long article on the Cold War, I'd just say the contest between the Soviet Bloc and the West was framed by the West, i.e. the US to prevent the spread of socialism as the idea that the people, rather than a rich few, should own their country's wealth, particularly productive assets.

  • @joefriendly Look, talking about "misinformed public" is the Totalitarian talk used to undermine democracy (i.e. how can people be given the vote if they don't have the "correct" information).

I don't buy your socialist crap, USA is plenty socialist. Huge welfare schemes, public spending, etc. And if you start just seizing assets and money to "redistribute" either it becomes a totalitarian state or money becomes worthless.

  • @joefriendly NO ONE SHOULD CARE if someone has more money than them, that's pure jealousy and greed: "I want what they have". What matters is if you and each individual has enough money for a good quality of life.

Money is a big complicated entity, not just owned by people, but by corporations, in banks, virtual money, hypothetical money. Money DOES NOT WORK if you FORCE it to be evenly spread through the population, it's like forcing a hydraulic system to all work at the same pressure.

  • @Treblaine You have the status quo well rationalized. The American people are a fooled people. Hopefully they can be woken up, you included. Bribery rules in Washington. Hopefully we can replace our corrupt imitation of democracy with an actual, direct democracy. We need public ownership of the corporations so we can have at the center of their decision making process people truly oriented to serving the people and the planet for a change. Clearly external control of corporations has not worked!

  • @joefriendly "woken up"?? More brain-washing dogma. Maybe people ignore you because your ideas suck.

Direct Democracy has NEVER worked because every person doesn't have time to hear the case & vote on every issue, inevitably special interests take over.

We tried loads of publicly run corporations in the UK and it was A DISASTER!!

Far better for Democratic Govts to simply pass laws and regulations for good running of companies rather than try to run them themselves, since govt are NOT QUALIFIED!

  • @joefriendly It seems that Americans ARE fooled people , but may I add that we are ALL fooled into thinking that Democracy is a desirable goal ?

Democracy, is, after all, a type of mob rule with rhetoric where majorities can over-power minorities - where wealth can purchase favor, by buying representation in courts !

What is needed instead - which the founders of the U.S. constitution established, is a Constitutional Republic under the rule of law representing individuals rights !

  • @joefriendly Well public ownerships of the means of production are clearly for the Soviet Union, which still has the highest standard of living of any peaceful, democratic, totally-not-imperialistic, totally-NOT-totalitarian nation in the history of the world. See also such utopias as North Korea, Cuba, and Khmer Rouge Cambodia. Unless my liberal socialist communist history is wrong...

  • @TavaresDelanis The US has resorted to an illegal economic blockade of Cuba, economic warfare forbidden by the UN Charter, to try to prevent socialism from thriving there. Yet despite the US efforts to strangle the Cuban economy, occasional US terrorist acts and sabotage, funding anti-Cuban groups within Cuba, and constant radio propaganda directed at the Cuban people, it is fair to say that socialism is alive and well and popular in Cuba. Without the blockade it would surely be heavenly!

  • @joefriendly not just In cuba china vietnam and a lot of other country as well

  • @TavaresDelanis Not to mention that "socialism" or redistribution of wealth in Venzelua has lifted millions of people out of poverty that was forced upon the masses from western neo-liberal economic policies. Colombia, Guatemala, Nicaragua, etc. have all tried to overthrow neo-liberal policies so majority can profit from economy and not just the wealthy. US media always portrays these revolutions as militant, communist, socialist, etc. but never framed as for the people by the people, etc.

  • @Braindrain3 many people don't know the real meaning of "socialism and communism" most american see that as "evil" because of the media and politician but they are much more equal and succesful ever see cuban running away from their own country because they were "sad" it,s rare if they go out of their country is for travelling

Most Like in china the china town we see are actually people from Macau and Hong Kong for most of them ( independnat government ) and barley "mainland "chinese

  • @TavaresDelanis The US has always blocked any independent efforts of Latin America and other regions from following their own path. When they began to see that these nations were becoming successful outside of the capitalist model they began economic blockades, military subversion, assasination, etc. to end the potential of the "domino theory". That is why Cuba is still isolated today because they were the first to successfully defy the US. Check the state department records.

  • @Braindrain3 is it also why that USA try to weaken china because they are successful

  • @Treblaine actually this is the truth about cold war america was behind it they started it

a lot of historians and people alike agreed with that it's not a "misconception" or propaganda it's a reality

You hate communism because of what you politician said you doN,t wnat to help your fellow people and you still believe communism is evil but could not find any real argument since you never read or actually "tested" the actual ideology

and yes it's an ideology not a Government type

  • @keldius So what? Nazi Propagandist Goebbels often gloated that Britian started World War 2 when the UK Declared War on Germany. Also true with US and Japan, US declared war on Japan first, they could have "forgiven" Pearl Harbour.

The common theme here is US/UK started war because they could no longer tolerate the belligerent actions and resorted to war. USSR didn't want a Cold War, but they DID want to endlessly expand their oppressive control, but unopposed.

  • @Treblaine The US declared wars ? nah it's was The Nazi who declared wars against USA like I said the 2 World wars were justified but not the cold wars or any other wars for the matter

still after WWII american become too Much boastful they think they "won" all alone but not the allies

it's true Britain declared wars to germany ( after germany invaded France )

  • @keldius Yeah, so I suppose the USSR should have just been allowed to expand their military control indefinitely? Give me a break. That's what the Cold War was, confronting Soviet Aggression. US didn't invade any communist country (cept N Korea, in pursuing NK army), they just tried to stop communist countries invading their neighbours.

UK declared war on Germany a whole 9 MONTHS before the invasion of France.

You clearly don't know shit about history.

  • @Treblaine ,,yeah I had a cold fight with a russian back in 88' , and to this very day we still haven't touched each other,, as a matter of fact, we look alike, we just talk different

  • @getaura1 Hmm, cryptic metaphor or just a weird anecdote?

  • @Treblaine US invaded Vietnam as well, and Laos and Cambodia. As you said they invaded NK as well as China.

However, it is very silly of someone to say the USA started anything in WWII. Japan sneak attacking the USA is effectively a declaration of war. Furthermore, Hitler soon declared war on the USA outright.

  • @superdog797 Yeah, you're really pushing the definition of "invade". Americans were invited into South Vietnam and all the Americans who ever set foot in North Vietnam, Laos or Cambodia you could fit in a greyhound bus.

Mind you considering the open and blatant aggression these counties directed at South Vietnam America would have every right to invade to protect their ally. Why they didn't? That's politics.

"best form of defence is attack"

    -Winston Churchill

  • @Treblaine "Americans were invited into South Vietnam" . . . "considering the open & blatant aggression [North Vietnam, Laos [&] Cambodia] directed at South Vietnam, America would have every right to invade to protect their ally."

What utter bullshit. South Vietnam wouldn't have existed were it not for US lies & willful disobedience of international law. The US cancelled 1956's scheduled election which would have given Ho Chi Minh the presidency under reunification.

    You're a fucking pig.

  • @bapyou Look, how can you hold a free and fair elections when you have communist terror squads threatening to visit massacres any district that doesn't vote for communist loyalists? You can't. It' like holding elections in 1932 Germany with Brown Shirt thugs walking the street on polling day.

You think the massive migrations post division, the Boat People when Saigon fell, would have willingly voted for communism?

I suppose you think Iran is democratic because it had "elections".

  • @bapyou is that why there was a mass exodus of vietnamese at the end of tha war? Clearly they diddn't want uncle ho being they leader.

  • Only insofar as the US is now a proxy of Rome...and the issue has always been Roman Imperialism (divine right) v. World Freedom.

Yet another video failing to go to first causes and extrapolating from there.

  • Another IMPORTANT reason for the U.S presence in Afghanistan except the pipeline, is OPIUM. This is the C. I. A's department. They're known drug smugglers, google: Freeway Ricky Ross and Oliver North, Iran-Contra. Afghanistan is the world's largest heroin exporter. You can bet your a** most of it goes out in military airplanes. Karzai's brother is a drug kingpin who is known for his ties to the C.I.A. Need i say more?

Believe what you want, but this is the truth....

  • What's really going on - 101.

Thanks again for your work, Mr Friendly.
