In the real aircraft before starting the apu you would do a fire test which is not simulated by feelthere's erj. Also before starting the apu you must leave knob in on position for 3 seconds so it can perform a self test.
@123321curious No need for caps or double post... The aircraft is flyable from the Captain or First Officer's seat (FSX, under virtual cockpit mode) . FYI, this information is easily available if you were to put in 2 seconds to visit the Feelthere website.
haha...now, next time i'm at work and i have to get in the cockpit to work the breaks and lights so they can push it back ill know how to get the APU on :P
Excellent! Thanks for this. It is so interesting to know how to acheive a complete startup on a beautiful aircraft such as this. Thanks for helping us simmers!
@VOLXOM1 If you mean the vocal call out checklist then that can be accessed by pressing Shift + 6. (I think it was 6, it may be some number close to it-use trial and error)

It's nice to see that other pilots are as well still using FS2004 on windows 7 :)
FSX is way to heavy to run for what it is. I think fs9 is as realistic with the right add-ons.
