This was great! I have been experimenting with After Effects for a year now so forgive my curiosity and ignorance; but did you use a glow effect at all? And is there a way to have more Independent individual particles like in CC particle world? Oh and check out my improved dematerializing TARDIS, tell me what you think.

@NakedCrusaders the glow is acheived with CC light rays which is all built in increasing the intensity and using a light colour such as light yellow. But do not use white as it goes too bright. THe parciles can be made to interact easily if you use form. Oh and my latest video has the perfect particles that look just like Tens Regeneration I am pleased its my best work to date

If I were you, in the future Id resort to 3d partictle generation to get a better looking transition, it also makes the effect look more "under control"

My respect was won by Matt the second i saw him A. He's not a complete chauvinistic prick like Tennant was and B. i have respect for Matt as an actor way more than Tennant. Matt came into being the doctor after 10 people had already played him! that seems like a lot to live up to he seems very brave

@JoeAndTeddy the wavey effect was achieved by using trapcode form and mapping it to the layer that was particles. Trapcode Form is nothing on its own it needs something to work around. When you program it it behaves with the objects it sees. That means you don't even have to animate it. I just adjusted the settings for the velocity etc. Annette and I are fine thanks. You are doing well I will probably do a tutorial on blip tv how are you?
