It just occurred to me that the reason why JD's message looks so computerised is because he would have typed it out of fear of his handwriting being traced.
Love scrubs full of amazing , funny , sad moments 1 that makes me laugh is when they have day dreams about being married 2 elliot cox & her sat on the couch she yells at him 4 the order of the cheese & apple on the cracker next min hes killed her & the cop takin him away & says Your Gonna Fry For This & the smile on his face makes me laugh think hes got a great smile but no doubt he would call me a girls name 4 saying that
Nnnng. I love most everything about this scene, but her little "It's hard for me too" just KILLS the impact of Cox's line right before. I mean, how better to undermine a confession on that level with that kind of cheesy cliched delivery? God Cheryl Hines, what a let down. No wonder they never brought her back.
Why, if I may ask? If you believe in the christian god, it's good, and if you don't believe in it, it's useless, but harmless. It's like being pissed at a teacher for giving advice on good ways to study.
one of the most poignant moments in scrubs i think, reference to Cox's beaten past hurts everybody because of his normal rough demeanor. I think it is the best scene in scrubs, not because it is funny but it takes you away from the funny silliness and reminds you that they are mere mortals.
When I watched this scene for the first time I almost cried. Which means that either I'm really pathetic or the scene was exceptionally well made. Or maybe both.
This song has helped me through some difficult times. For a primarily comedy show, scrubs has an amazing ability to focus on the serious side of things and I really do praise the writers and Bill Lawrence for the amazing ability to give justice to certain aspects of life. RIP Scrubs (not including Scrubs: Med) :)
Uh... No. Everybody who thinks this is Joseph Arthur is wrong. It's Howie Day. You can search for Howie Day and compare the vocals. Joseph Arthur did a cover of it, which is good, but not the one used in Scrubs. You can even look at the Scrubs website to confirm it.
He explains it to JD in one episode. That parents might cause emotional damage. He just didn't use the excuse how horrible his dad was to make himself a victim. Instead he just moved on and did better
Just because something is beautiful dont mean you want to have sex with it/them. I can say, Oh that tv is beautiful, you then think i will rape it the second i get alone? lol
I love the part with Dr.Cox & his sister because there was a part of my childhhood that was really rough. So I can relate to it. Mainly caused by my own father as well. x
i think what gets me the most about this scene is when perry explains his ambiguity towards paige's visits at 2:23. it just shows that his character deep down has a soul
well at the VA wave church we have over 100 thousand ppl go so i dont no what you mean by only a dozen people go to church and in others churches iv been to there was at least 400 people in (besides the small ones then only like 100) naver seen 12 ppl in 1 church, beside that preacher on the street corner preaching to the homeless

I somehow thought i WI was the mostest FAN. but these comments reveal me to be just another. What would I do without Scrubs? It's like therapy for me.
Not likely, Though it isn't to say he wouldn't want to in some deep part of his mind. Carla mentioned Perry's parents were dead in Season 8, Not that he killed them.
Considering that Perry's father drank quite a lot, It wouldn't be surprising if that contributed to his death. Most likely of liver disease.
I could only hope that his mother passed of old age or natural causes. Considering his mother watched the abuse, It's not surprising she could drive herself mad with guilt at not interfering
I'm only saying... Taking it as if the characters could be real people, Especially them being characters on a favorite TV show could make them seem like an old friend. Would you not show the slightest bit of sadness/whatever for what happened to them?
I've seen what has happened both from and as an after-effect of Child Abuse/Spousal abuse... And I can only say I wish I could find the person to walk away from it without being shattered inside or, be able to walk away from it at all.
It just occurred to me that the reason why JD's message looks so computerised is because he would have typed it out of fear of his handwriting being traced.
