Many years ago we made friends with a guy named Ken and he was so hilarious! He kept talk about this uncle that he had but never really told us his name, said he could play all kinds of string instruments. Then one day he brought over a VHS and plugged it in. Much to my husband and my surprise it was Jim Stafford! Ken would keep you in stitches!! Now we see where Ken got his humor. In case you ever see this thread Ken, we still think of you and wonder if you're still in MO.
This is why I LOVE YouTube. All of you out there are helping to preserve the best of American pop culture (movies, music, cartoons and television). I thought I was the only one who remembered the Jim Stafford Show! This show existed during the time when the variety/comedy format was still popular. Thanks to whoever posted Jim Stafford's most hilarious performance of one of his songs. I remember seeing this for the first time on television!

We sued to sing this at horse camp! Best three years of my life. Well, maybe not the BEST, but the song was the shit.
