I broke my back (L1 incomplete) 6 months ago on my 15th birthday. Your this video gives me courage and determination to walk again, I know how hard it is and the time it takes but determination is the key.
Sorry to hear that, pal. But you're gonna be ok. Its a tough cruel think this SCI thing....but you adapt, you regain independance, you still get to grow up, and yeah, the girls still gonna dig you too :)
As far as sci goes your lucky, first its L second incomplete and third with Obama allowing stem cell research its just a matter of time. Don't give up hope, but even if not, with determination you can always figure out away to do things that you want to do.
Thanks! (mine is T3, not L3 - I WISH it were L3). And you have it tough fiend, T1 complete? wow...keep working though. How long ago? I'm prepared for a long wait to be cured, so long that it may as well never happen...and I'm cool with that :)
I just had a friend hurt himself very badly in a car accident. He "severed" his T3 vertebrae and we dont expect him to walk. Your video gives me courage that he may have functionality in the future. I will take your message to him when he is well enough to receive it. Good luck in your future endeavors.
Hello ! I was paralyzed in 2006 after a BAD wreck T-11 T -12 incomplete and I was making good progress at reahb and they kicked me out after 3 months of reahb because of my insurance. I have had two more surgeries since then and I am still in pain and stiff . I can only have 20 therapy visits for the year. Your progress shows me that I have hope. Thank you for posting your video!
Mark, I'm so proud of you! And, so thankful that Sam and Olivia have been so good to you. You're so blessed to have them on your team! Go Olivia (Mark- she reminds me of myself riding behind Greg on my old TTR 125)! Keep it up buddy! Lots of love from the SC gang (and two SC transplants)- Misty and Greg Moore
Hey thanks! Great to hear from you guys! Olivia is so crazy about dirt bikes, WAAAaay beyond anything I expected/wanted...her room is covered in posters of them.
We plan to come visit Columbia soon btw, so watch out!
Hey misfit! I didnt quite understand your comment...face standing? However, I love your vids of helping kids play at a sports day...very very cool. BTW, I'm not looking forward to going back to the UK to visit....I hear its not quite wchair friendly yet??? But I dont know for sure..?
hahaha Mark I mean my face is on the ground instead of my feet. Man you've been in the States far too long. Told you on myspae that it's not too bad over here. Gees if you aint scared of hunting and ATV's you'll have no worries over here.
Great video!
Keep up the good work.
Best regards from volcano erupting Iceland!
