OMG LEGENDS WAS SO INNOVATIVE, it was a megaman with an actual RP feel and story, it was one of my favs next to X3...try to play it all the way thru, the style isnt classic 2D but being on PS1 vs X7 and X8 on PS2, u have to respect that is was ahead of its time

I think they are the same but alia can't charge her special but they get more upgrade's i think I'm not sure but they do have different weapon's Alia Has her alia buster obviously and Layer has a Rapier She doe's all the thing zero doe's nothing less or more and pallete has a weird looking laser gun and has axel's abilities' but... she doe's not have copy shot sadly....

This is the only Mega Man X game I haven't played, and I don't know if I want to. Mega Man in 3D? It just doesn't work. I guess some other MM series are in 3D, but classic MM and MMX have to be 2D.

X7 is decent, but it pales in comparison to the other Mega Man X games. I bought it just for the sake of owning it, but it wasn't nearly as bad as people say it is. It's at least worth trying considering that you can find it for $5 used @ GS/EB.

The game will automatically show you a cut-scene of X deciding to become a field agent again when he's unlocked. Just keep rescuing reploids and it'll happen.

I haven't played X6 or X7 yet, but X7 looks dissapointing, and I'm a HUGE Mega Man fan. X8 has MUCH better graphics, and it's a classic 2D side scroller. Mega Man games aren't meant to be 3D. Nice speed run though.

The game is alright. I just wish the boss weakness would do more damage. I can`t tell if Snipe Anteater is weak the wheel weapon. He does not react and takes 1 tiny part of his heath. All he saids is ple.

i noticed that in X8 the game is more side scroller with bits of 3D elements unlike this game which looks more like mario64 but with better graphics but both games i think take time to master and beat with skill

actually the whole 3-D camera system wasnt working out for alot of ppl so they got rid of the camera, kept the graphics and X stayed as a sidescroller that is until X Command Mission.
