I have been drinking three cups of green tea a day for the past month and my skin has been great, alot smoother. Also i have lost 10 pounds! a great way to lose weight. ( also exercise half hour 3 or 4 times a week, that helps alot as well.)

It can't substitute water, infact in dehydrates the body hence you hace to drink more water now. I'm not saying it's bad... all the good things you named are true but you cannot replace water for tea.

I've tried green tea (in tea bags) & it was quite flavourless! I'll try looking for some Metcha. Is Metcha a little sweeter than the tea bag variety i know they do come in different flavours but do you have any healthy tips to flavour green tea if we find that our green tea lacks in that department? Asian supermarkets most likely, I don't think markets like Met Foods and Western Beef would have it.

Go to like, the tea aisle and matcha is usually in a small/medium metal kind of container.

@llxllannallxll you can add sugar and or honey to taste. its you're preference. if the green tea is good quality, it has a really rich flavor, so you dont necessarily have to add anything into it.

Awesome segment Benji, make more of them. I have major skin issues like acne,eczema, and psoriasis. I was told to switch coffee for green tea because of all the antioxidants and just major health benefits in general that it has. I have started on green tea, but haven't found one that will make me stop drinking coffee all together. Still on the hunt though. Will be trying black tea next see if I like it better. TY!!

Just because its ground tea doesn't mean it is matcha. That is definitely not green enough to be made out of real Gyokuro leaves - so its not actually matcha. But, you can get some nice ones for not too much money. Check out "Kiri no Mori" from O-Cha's online shop.

Coffee has benefits too, downside is people add so many things that take away from those. Recent studies have been in the news about coffee's benefits:) Coffee helps fight depression, lower risk of dementia, and is also high in antioxidants, just wanted to throw that out there in case any of you coffee addicts are feeling really guilty!
