My dog died recently. This song seems to say it all. Today is my first snowfall without her, she loved the snow, and I found myself looking at a live version of the song to just, you know, remember. But then I found your video...wow, how appropriate! That could be me and her at the beach. It helped to remind me of all the good times she and I had. Thanks for posting this and soothing my soul. Michael McDonald does a good job on one of the best songs ever. Billy Joel's version is likewise good, and I'm a fan of both singers, but the best version remains the original by Freddie Scott. This is just a damned good song,
