I love my Zune and I think it is better than Ipod and people need to try new Tech. It has RDS tech built in the radio, built in Wifi, better sound, and firmware updates. Also the new speaker box for Zune is gonna kill the Bose Sound dock. Microsoft Zune is in the long term an Ipod killer and is just a platform. In fact Microsoft is eventually gonna turn it into a portable gaming device in the future like the PSP while Apple is gonna be stuck in the MP3 generation for a longtime.

Not only does it have an iPod, it has a phone, pictures, a camera, email, and google will be introduced.

Ipods, in my opinion, are STACKS better. Ive had an Ipod mini for years now, and i still have it. The sound quality is the best around, and the buttons are easy to get the hang of.

i got a zune and i love it...for the same price i paid for a shitty Nano, i got a big ass clear quality screen, video and picture, and radio...thanks Microsoft!...fuck you Apple!...oh and to the idiot who keeps posting about some best seller list...who gives a fuck?...the ipod wasn't flying off the shelves when it first came out so keep your shitty comments to yourself...thanks...Merry Christmas, hope you get a Zune...

As of this posting, the Zune has fallen to #97 on Amazon.com's best-selling list. The early adopters have bravely spoken... while the rest of the world moves on. I believe that the isolation you speak of for Zune users won't be unique to the Netherlands, friend ;-)

Jealous (learn to spell)? lol! "File transfer" is incorrect. The Zune "squirt" is three plays or three days and THAT's IT. Even if you "squirt" a non-DRM'd tune... say, maybe even something you recorded, yourself or ripped off of a commercial CD you bought, the DRM IS IMPOSED UPON THE SQUIRTED FILE.

Also, NO OTHER file types are allowed to be transferred. It's not "open" wi-fi. You cannot sync it wirelessly with your PC or do ANYTHING ELSE with it. You cannot even use it as a portable hard drive!

These are not technological leaps beyond Microsoft; these are premeditated limitations upon this product. Realize, people, who you're getting in bed with when you buy a ZUne. Your interests as a consumer are NOT what's important to MS and the labels.

What's so perfect about it. It does have a good resolution, and it probably looks extraordinary, but it will never be perfect. There can always be better.
