  • Radiator Spring is actually Seligman, Arizona.

  • I'm reading Grapes of Wrath in English. We're doign this whole project on Route 66. I can't get the song out of my head now.

  • @rockluve18 Come and visit Route 66, our Mother Road!!

  • As I understand it, it took until about 1984 until I-40 was completed, totally bypassing US 66. Who would dislike this? lol The Visions-Route 66---written by Bobby Troup of the Emergency! fame.

  • Its a sad story about Route66...

  • In 1992, I had my 59 Corvette, the 66th anniversary of Rte 66, I hit route 66 at 6:06am in the morning. Near Oatman. So, I was going 66mph with my 6 year old son. I was 42:: 4=2=6. It Was June 6, that's 6-6. I couldn't make 6's out of 1992. But I did a good job with the dates. No one was out there, past Valentine, into Seligman. It was Very green that year and flies were thick as the green. A lonely highway 66 on 6-6 going 66mph on the 66th aniv' with a 6 year old......

  • The interstate highway system did a lot of good for this country - and a lot of bad...

  • cars didn't drive to make great time

they drove to have a good time.

i mean, how much difference would 10 minutes make??

  • Best Movie Ever...even if it was a kids movie!!!

  • ...and on June 26, 1956, I was born.

  • Wish I could live in a little town like that. Some of the nicest people are in the smallest towns.

  • @napadave100 And other towns have brutal .. murderous crazy people ^_^

  • Great movie. Historic Route 66... make sure to take a ride along this wonderful road. I especially enjoyed my stop at the Hackberry General Store. Just a few hours away from Las Vegas.

  • This is so sad :(

  • Thank you Pixar for this piece of American history! :)

  • President Eisenhower did the wrong thing by signing that act. But now you have a choice you can drive on Route 66 or you can drive on the interstate.

  • oh yesss i like this movie!!!!!!!!!

  • tttttttttttt9789iuu

  • US Routes are much more intreasting to Drive than interstates to me.......and thats what Killed them...interstates.......a lot of Towns Died when the Interstates were Built.

  • Actually, the movie's location is based in Arizona. Radiator Springs is technically based on the real town of 'Peach Springs'. If you look at the map in the movie you will see that it is based on the stretch of road between Williams, AZ and Kingman, AZ. The towns are Seligman, Peach Springs, etc. Just to set some people straight on that it isn't a fake movie and does have a lot of truth to it. Especially the locations........

  • sad story

  • You can believe that we were better off having to drive through every little town and stop at traffic lights if you want to, I like the Interstates. I liked this movie and I don't mind nostalgia, but don't get carried away. It's also cool that you can find little towns out there to live in that life has "passed by" because they still look like yesterday. It might be a good place to go live go get out of the rat race.

  • this is the only moment that i believe that this movie comes to being like a pixar movie. the rest of the movie, i wasn't too fond of.

  • this is very sad

  • A beautiful movie, second best bit, the best bit being where Doc gets welcomed back to the Piston Cup!

  • So, did Radiator Springs actually exist?

  • You really are fucking stupid. Am I right?

  • best part!

  • Stop fucking up. This is a sad story.

  • my favorite part of the movie!

  • i love this clip...and the movie.

  • is thiz copy righted??

  • one of my favourite movies! i love this film... excellent video!

  • Beautigul song... Owr town, by james taylor ! =)

  • Bitchen. I live in a small Route 66 Town in Northern Arizona, that was by-passed because of Interstate 40. The Town came back to life because of the Grand Canyon Rail Road and now is filled with Tourists. Our Town's entrance signs state "THE BEST OF ROUTE 66". Neet Movie, Neet Town.........

  • @greymountian

I am goinng to be walking down 66 in an attempt to break the World Record by walking from NYC to LA in less than 53 days. The majority of myy walk is on 66 and through the towns that were by passed. This song inspries me. Thanks for your comment.

  • @greymountian I have been inspired by Route66 for a long time now... In Norway, where I live, theres similar small towns that has been bypassed by the countless of roadupgrades, one town, has been isolated for so long that its allmost completely empty... We call these roads for "The old Road", if the road is even older, we call "The older road"... Today there are approxi. 5roads that has been bypassed for saving driving, 2of these roads got 1 or more small towns that was bypassed...

  • @greymountian What town in Arizona? In 2009, I did a 3 week driving trip from Chicago to a friend in Lake Havasu and back using as much of Route 66 I could find. I met awesome people in Illinois, Joplin, tourists from Paris in Kansas, an English couple at the Blue Whale in OK, had breakfast in Clinton OK with a Canadian family, met an Ausie couple at the GC, fed the donkeys in Oatman with people from all over! The Kingman 66 Museum! OMG! I missed stuff and am planning another trip.

  • my son loves the movie cars! We always come on here to watch little clips of the movie, this one he likes! Thanks! =]

  • i love this movie!!
