@djmussy18 All you need to do is the math. 6.5 billion people and put 4 people on an acre each. There are 171,904,640 acres in Texas. Divide 6.5 billion by about 172,000,000 and you get about 4 people per acre. If you give 4 people and acre you can even have those 4 people have a small organic farm on their land. To be realistic, you need to account for areas that include roads, highways, commerce, industry, education, but that would most likely not take much more land. Humans are spread out.

People want to get out, be active, you need neighborhoods, jobs, factories, schools, and not every person will want to have 2 kids; and how about the religions, churches, masques, and other religious places?

That will never happen, unless the people who are living at the cramped place are from the same tribe or religion or even race. Even with all that, diseases will spread much easier.

GM Food is more of a harm then a gain. The government is just defending it so that they can make money, teaching teens about how great GM food is. In the past, when there is no GM food, look at the cancer rate. Now, with all this weird GM food, 1 out of 5 people have cancer. I don't know why people defend for GM food.

That is our take on it at our house too. We attempt to avoid these foods but we hear that almost all rice grown in the USA that is long grain, even if labelled organic the grains are still GMO. And now more exotic foods are being tampered with - beets and other foods that Monsanto etc had left alone are now being genetically modified.

Yes, Monsanto created Terminator seeds which die after one harvest so the farmers then have to keep coming back to Monsanto for more seeds. I'm sure GMOs most likely effect women's fertility and general health. This GMO food is contaminated with pesticides and has been tampered with in a way that it is less nutritious and unnatural.

not really. i recommend the british to eat only british strawberries and apples but what if we want the maqui berry which has 50 times the anti oxidant levels that red wine has. importing and exporting food is not so much a bad thing. for example the tomatoes grown in the UK uses more energy than the spanish tomatos because it needs UV lights in the UK. the solution is to only buy organic and to not eat red meat.

85,000 people in the US wrote to the FDA to label GMOs. They finally said o.k. and haven't done anything. Check this fact for yourself by watching the future of food further interviews. I agree that GMOs should be labeled. I don't know how to go about it when the White House ignores 90% of the population that want labeling.

It is mad, though. The CM crops are increasing so fast that I'm sure there's a lot of seed contamination, pollinisation ... The problem is, instead of suing Monsanto for contamination they sue you for growing Monsanto seeds in your soil. So labelling becomes tricky or impossible when there can be so much cross-fertilisation and other phenomena. what if you're an organic farmer and the fields beside you grow GMs?
