  • What camera is this, and how big of an area have you used this on?

  • Very cool. Have you ever experimented with tracking infrared lasers, not infrared LED's?

  • @td84 but it is an infared laser!

  • @thenutjob34 So, how come I can see it if it's an infrared laser? Whats the nm of and mW the laser?

basically a mouse laser in ur hand :)

  • i watched most of ur video.,., what are the software u are using,.??

  • I am working on a project for one of my classes and I think that this could be very useful. Is there any way that I could get the source code?

  • yea where can this be downloaded from?????????!!!!

  • can i download it anywhere?

  • Yeahh, how DO you click?

  • Turning off the laser simulates a mouse click

  • Oh? Then how did you scroll? Scrolling required holding down the mouse and scrolling? If the pointer was off, it wouldn't be able to track? Or did you just click under the scroll bar..? Oh

  • Yeah, just clicked somewhere between the scroll buttons..

  • it would be a pain to hold the laser at a little spot.

  • how do you click!!!!!

  • Turning off the laser simulates a mouse click

  • Cool image processing project. But if all you want is to control your mouse cursor/launch programs, you can make a simple serial port IR receiver($1)and use it with a software like IRAssistant and winLirc driver, all freewares.Just use your tv remote to control it :)

  • congratulations...! I've got almost the same idea, but my algorithm is a bit different than yours...

I use a common green pen, and point it to my laptop's built in camera, and then it follows...

Well, it follows all that is green XD

    But good work....

NOTE: I've used your code, for image aquisition...

  • what was that songs name

  • Goldfinger - Superman

  • Bravo Ashish pour cette présentation et pour le nouveau projet lancé sur codeplex. De grandes perspectives d'application en vue !

  • Glad you liked it. :)

  • Wow, when I saw IE7, I almost clicked unsubscribe.

Having Vista is bad enough but forgivable.

    Anyways, very cool project!
