i ued a drill to drill them out just enough to be below the surface, and then painted them with black finger nail polish

its a light fretboard, called "maple" and yes you can change necks, its only held on by four screws, but if you do change the neck, have it set up by someone at the store

Maybe, don't know. I wish a daphne blue Fender to christmas, but my father took me down to the store and we looked at it but i don't remember if it had a dark or light fretboard... If it is dark it is wrong but is it possible to change the neck? I'm going to build a replica u know.

@Superagusito i used some cheap brand, like ultra blonde or something like that and no finish after that :P just sweat and beer :)

let the die set for about an hour or 2, if its not light enough after that, you might want do do it twice

i let mine set over night, then cleaned it off, let it dry and bleached it again letting it set over night for a second time

@AznAsianWannabe its actually very easy, i took the pickguard off and aligned where it would sit if the screw holes lined up and traced arround it with a pen, the cut it out with a razorblade and finished by sanding the edges
