Yea I left wow too to get a break from it after playing since the day it first came out and was simply tired of all the drama in my old server before creating a new toon on my Kul Tiras. I just didn't want to transfer a toon since I didnt have the money for it hehe. While Aion was great to have due to the fact that you get to be creative in making your toon unique unlike wow where all toons just simply look alike. did I switch back to wow? YES
Try league of legends. Free to start and enjoyable in much more family friendly section of times (40 min). Success doesn't depend on wasted time investement and logical strategy is rewarded. Teamowk is still vital. Try it, have fun, leave wow for league of legens.

As a tank myself (I've quit wow as well btw) I can say this is the exact reason I left - Almost word for word - Our guild hadn't been around as long as you but I quit because I got sick of new guys coming and saying how to do my job when the issues weren't around the Tanks... Anyway - Its sad but there are far too many assholes in wow for me to bother - If I get back into it I would be playing only with people I know and that is pretty much it

It is common knowledge that the only games that will kill WoW are the games being produced by Blizzard. It isn't because WoW is so much better than anything out there, but because most of the people playing have lots of time/monetary investment in the game to just up and leave comfortably. AION is a wonderful quality game and GW2 will be as well but they will not kill WoW
@Ozgarthefighter What will kill WoW is Blizzard. They having already ran out of material and they are making it up as the go. They have so many errors and problems creeping in its going to be silly at some point. Am sure they will try to drag it out 2 more expansions if they can so they can milk every single dime out of it. If I was them I would be working in secret on the replacement now. Take all of the lesson learnt and apply it to the replacement game. Then back to square one.

I took a break from WOW, and after 3 months I rejoined, and did a recount on my friends base. That's the best exercise in the world, you'll love it.

hell yeah I try to do the best. Even tho my gs is 4.9k gs I try as hard as I can to tank. Tanking is fun and it feels good to be the most important character in a raid or heroic. I am a warrior prot :)

Yea I left wow too to get a break from it after playing since the day it first came out and was simply tired of all the drama in my old server before creating a new toon on my Kul Tiras. I just didn't want to transfer a toon since I didnt have the money for it hehe. While Aion was great to have due to the fact that you get to be creative in making your toon unique unlike wow where all toons just simply look alike. did I switch back to wow? YES

Try league of legends. Free to start and enjoyable in much more family friendly section of times (40 min). Success doesn't depend on wasted time investement and logical strategy is rewarded. Teamowk is still vital. Try it, have fun, leave wow for league of legens.

Happened to me as well, been in a guild for 2 years, I'm kicked, I asked a GM why, they said one of the lower ranks thought I stole the 31k in there, and it said under log that, someone with a name just like mine, took it, and I said I don't have a toon named that.

As a tank myself (I've quit wow as well btw) I can say this is the exact reason I left - Almost word for word - Our guild hadn't been around as long as you but I quit because I got sick of new guys coming and saying how to do my job when the issues weren't around the Tanks... Anyway - Its sad but there are far too many assholes in wow for me to bother - If I get back into it I would be playing only with people I know and that is pretty much it

It is common knowledge that the only games that will kill WoW are the games being produced by Blizzard. It isn't because WoW is so much better than anything out there, but because most of the people playing have lots of time/monetary investment in the game to just up and leave comfortably. AION is a wonderful quality game and GW2 will be as well but they will not kill WoW

I'm gonna be forced to disagree, AION is not so awesome. GW1 however was not only awesome but also the best PvP game I've ever played.
WoW however just seems to be the best for my playstyle (and yes I am playing again).

@Ozgarthefighter What will kill WoW is Blizzard. They having already ran out of material and they are making it up as the go. They have so many errors and problems creeping in its going to be silly at some point. Am sure they will try to drag it out 2 more expansions if they can so they can milk every single dime out of it. If I was them I would be working in secret on the replacement now. Take all of the lesson learnt and apply it to the replacement game. Then back to square one.

@Gruurk2 it is ironic you should say that Blizzard should be working on a secret replacement because that is exactly what they are doing. They plan on just 2 more xpansions for WoW and then will release the as of yet unnamed MMO project. You nailed the tail on the Tauren xD

@Ozgarthefighter It was the only logical answer. Question is are they going to learn their lesson or are they going to do another patched version that doesn't flow coincidentally. IE, they start off with the original materal and then go through x expanision at x rate until they have to dream it up again. This way it flows. Sorry man I can poke at what they have done and logically rip it apart. IE, you can't have a Undead DK. Why? Because he would have been human! And there is more.

@Ozgarthefighter Am going to let my subscription lapse in November on WoW. If you find a better MMO and you remember then let me know. I sort of like the WoW and GW2 type of storylines. I would rather get in on the ground floor on a new one but I haven't heard of one yet. I know it's going to be a fight at first to get through the early content but that's not new to me. This time am not going to do 12+ toons out of boredom. It's hard to keep up with it. Love raiding and that's my thing.

Hey mate, I know what you are feeling, I was also very dissapointed with many players in the game, so called 'friends' that once got uber gear lost their sense of reality and respect for the game. I took a break from WOW, and after 3 months I rejoined, and did a recount on my friends base. That's the best exercise in the world, you'll love it.
I am sure you'll come back when you feel like it.
