hey man umm i have bought some bones reds but i have 3rd hand rubbish blind wheels is this thre reason why my bearings dont spin so well reply urgently

Break them in(cruise for about an hour or so), if that doesn't seem to work, buy some bones speed cream($5), take out the rubber cages with a knife, pry it out through the edges, and apply 2 drops of the lube in the bearings, you should be good then :).

do you ever clean them? if so how regularly do u clean em. DONT USE WD40 it wrecks the bearings. use bearing lube at your local sk8 shop. 5 bucks or somtin

I haven't cleaned them in over 6 months. They're still fine but I should probably add some lube pretty soon just in case. All you need to do to clean them is; if they're rusty, take out your bearings(obviously), pop out the rubber cages, clean the rubber cages if desired, wash the bearings in acetone(lifts dirt and rust and completely destroys it :D), and if you see dirt in the acetone, wash a second time. Let the bearings dry, add a couple of drops of bones speed cream and voila :).

No no no, if you would want to clean them right away, you'd have to break them in first, so if you buy new ones, just skate them for about an hour or so and then add the speed cream and they'll perform better than before

If you want them to go faster than they do when you first take them out, take them out after breaking them in, soak them in acetone to clean them to take out any dirt that it may have gotten, and then put like 2 drops of speed cream after opening the rubber cages. To clean them normally, take out the cages and put them in acetone, dry them, and apply the speed cream, Let it dry before using them again. I haven't cleaned mine since I got them and they only go for about 20 seconds now.
