  • what is this instrument?

  • like this one very much, are there others played in this instrument?

  • amazing

  • Wen-Ji was born in late Han dynasty (177 A.D.). During the war, she was robbed by the minority "Xiong Nu" and became the wife of their king.

She lived there for 12 years and had 2 children, she missed her hometown all the time. After that period of war, the Premier of Han Dynasty "Cao Cao"

exchanged her back with a large fortune, she had to leave her children then with deep sorrow.

The poem described this experience of hers and her feeling.

  • @deepshenliu - You are mostly correct. However, she told her sad story in a different poem, "Sorrow and Outrage". This poem is less about her, more about the land and people of Xiongnu. Cao Cao ransomed her because he was a good friend of her father. She was the wife of one of the Xiongnu chefs. Never could understand why she chose to abandon her sons and bothered to return to the wartorn China to marry someone else. But her poems are beautiful and break my heart every time I read them.

  • @VimalaNowlis that's a place if ur husband died, u marry his son. Know Zhaojun Wang's story? even later than Wenji Cai. I think she liked to come back home that she's missing day after night, especially if she married someone she didn't really love.

  • @deepshenliu - Yes, I know all about those stories. Love those strong women who made history in a men's world. Yes, I know all about the nomadic cultures also. Women were hard to come by and the bride price for a good woman was high, that's why they often had to resort to kidnapping and it was necessary to keep productive women around. In the nomadic Hebrew culture, widows were handed to the brothers. Han China, on the other hand, held women cheaply and a man could buy many concubines.

  • Name: Hu Qie eighteen tempo. "Hu Qie" is the name of the instrument.

The author is said to be "Cai, Wen-Ji", one of the most talented woman in Chinese history.

Wen-Ji also made a poem called "Hu Qie eighteen tempo (chapter)".

  • This music broke my heart

  • Que música mas hermosa y relajante.
