I've found practicing on acoutic and without distortion more helpful because the distorton kinda blurs your notes and acoustic strings are generally heavier.

@joshyp204 I think near the volume thing in a guitar right near it there's like a thing thats like a stick if you switch it to the other side i think you might turn distortion off. If it does not work than it might be your amp and you need to configure it. Sorry for my bad explanation I really get confused in english at explaining

Not exactly. Electic guitar's strings are all steel, while acoustic usually has only 3 steel strings and the other three are made of nylon. Check out 0:50 part of this vid. It shows the clean electric guitar sound, without distortion.

'cuz its more fun..u have so many effects and it's the easiest guitar to play..trust me!
