  • My gateway sx2850 also 500 GB.

  • i love the hiding spot..but...if im not mistaking dont servers and computers emit o idk... heat? not such a good idea when an insulator such as cardboard is surrounding it... but i want a acer server! :) @Wolf9656....kinda a repost but im agreeing

  • Your song makes me want to rip my ears out.

  • Why not just buy a rack mount server like I did?

  • the song ist shit

  • so can i mke websites with it?

  • xDDDDD

  • SUPER BAD PLACE FOR IT! How would you like be in a non ventilated cupboard for your like. YOU WOULDN'T! and besides, why hide it. it's beautiful

  • did you know santa clause is a pedophile. he lures little children into his slay for presents

  • damn its not x-mas all the time

  • @sanskotje It's his video, maybe we likes this song?

  • ahhh i hated this song i used to work at toys r us and omg it came on every 20 minutes fuckkkk

  • @rafael661kc and thanks fucking good you are off of that job!

  • XD DA KUPBOARD!

  • I love Christmas!

  • bad place man - it will be very hot there

  • Ditto bro, when solder starts melting on your mobo or inside your psu, your gonna be pissed...

  • look in your options, i think you have an option call auto focus. It's really helpfull and it works great

  • Nice, does that mean you have to open the cupboard to print, or is there enough room in there for the paper to come out?

  • Nice video, apart from the focus-problem.

I'm going to buy a Windows Home Server, OEM-version on an Acer server.

  • lol your printer is in the cupboard too

  • How easy it is to restore the windows home server if my HD die on me?

  • You can pop in a WHS disc, and WHS will restore your entire HDD and contents, if you backed up the entire disc.

  • @armada4x4 YES! All you have to do is insert a cd, follow the prompts and there it is! Back to its original state!

  • I can't wait for windows 7 and snow-leopard!!! Im ready for a change. oh yeah, and why not just use windows server 2008?

  • Most likely licensing. Windows Home Server is around $150, where as Server 2008 is in the thousands. For that price, MythTV and a Linux file server would do the job for a home environment.

  • Hay all youtubers poros,

I got question so, here i go !!

Can you host website from home server ?

Mean you can install other software, server, sql and you can host too ?

  • I'm not a pro but my uncle is... And he told me to build a cheap PC and install server software on there to run my website... So yeah you can...

  • Of course you can ;-)

  • Yes you can. Sometimes it can be complicated with the amount of bandwidth you receive on home connections, as well as how ISP's handle DHCP lease times [your IP address could change at random if not connected 24/7] but yes absolutely you can. Get Apache or install IIS from the OS CD if you have Windows XP Professional and give it a shot! Nothing hurts experimenting :)

  • Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.

People, dont run a server on windows. Too many virues.

I run 2 servers, both on linux, clients are windows, but i would never run a server on windows.

Too many viruses, too many crashes etc..

  • this is actually a great, simple, piece of softwar good for the "rest of us". Those who understand and want the concept of a server but can't get into complicated linux/apache/coding stuff

  • Well if you need a server OS thats easy to use get OSX Server, but personally i would never ever run a server on windows, also apache is for webhosting, not file sharing/fileservers.

  • Comment removed

  • I love it.. My desktop 2 laptops and windows media centre is all hooked up to it. Before it was really hard to share things, now I share data very easy

  • I love this song

  • Stupid question, but Can you run MySQL on this server?

  • No, you will need a server like W2K3 server (enterprise) edition.

  • ok, thank you

  • no! you can run mysql on any windows OS, so also on a home server!

  • I am afraid you are wrong there look at the Microsoft website.

  • He's asking fot MYsql (not mssql) so you're not going to find anything about it on a microsoft website. I'm 100% sure you can run mysql (and apache + php too) on a WHS.

  • Yeah you can run MySQL.

  • stubit wath are you gonna do with a server :(

  • why would you hide him in the cupboard, hes beautiful!!

  • Merry Xmas

  • Fun to watch! (The shakes were less distracting than Cloverfield -- and no annoying "narrator," either!)

  • can you create your own website, and let people download and upload files, such as videos, from this?

  • You can do this from your own simple home computer. A server platform is computer without powerful grafics card, unstable CPU and etc.

  • NOOOOOO CHRISTMAS SONGS!!!! LOL good vid tho

  • i like the way you store your computer things haha very orignal

  • Watch out for the file corruption issue when you use certain programs to access the server. Do a search on Windows Home Server corruption.

  • Can you save files to the server wireless through your laptop

  • YES!

  • gratz on it, how much it cost?

  • That was the EX475 1Tera-flops £499 from Micro anvika Selfridges London Oxford St

    :o)

  • ooo too much for me lol

  • you can get the EX460 500GB for £399

right np HP is the best WHS, great for expanding the storage, and Photo web share!!

    thats the best!
