  • Once you start this you wont even be able to finish unless you have an amazing amount of cardio and physical shape already. I been doing this a year and have only fully completed this workout 50 times. It gunna feel as if it gets harder each day but after about your first week or 2 your gunna realize how easy it gets. I do this 3 times a week.

  • how many times a week are we suppose to do this workout

  • @elwayj Sunday-Workout Monday-Rest Tuesday-Optional (Workout or Rest depending on the speed of muscle recovery) Wednesday-Workout (if rested tuesday) Rest (if workout) Thursday-Rest (no matter what you did previously) Friday-Workout Saturday - Rest Usually on the friday workout period i dont do my 300 I do a light light workout of my own usually like a 15 minute thing. I go run half a mile. I started this routine last year. I have gained 49 lbs and trust me this shit works..
  • I usually go to the gym 5 times a week and work one muscle group / day. How often are you suppose to fuckin do this?

  • this guy did a single rep of each exercise and was breathing hard..... and he says to do 25 reps each.

  • @aka69sars most of them are even 50 reps.. haha.. it's both intense cardio as weighlifting.. first work-out after vomit... haha

  • you must need a vagina or something

  • easier said than done///////////

  • just doing one of each is hard O.O

  • This looks like an insanely good workout... I can probably do any one of these sets, except pullups, but to do them all in one routine will be my new goal! Thanks!

  • this workout hurts so damn good

  • How many days per week do you perform this?

  • @Lixhul i would say you should do this routine 3 times a week for a month then switch to a new routine. You should also check out my channel, cuz i upload free warm up, workout, stretching and ab routine videos! I also make video responses to questions that my subscribers ask me! Please Sub if you like my channel. Have a good one :)

  • will this help me loose a few pounds in a month's time?

  • @vukstevanic oh yes lol

  • @vukstevanic yes it will but you should not rely on it exclusively. To lose weight, you want to raise your heart rate and keep it up over a period of time. That means cardio!!! Running is the always ideal but you can also mix it up for variety. You can do laps at a pool, skipping, my favorite is to hit focus mitts with somebody or to hit a heavy bag. 20 to 40 minutes 3-5 days a week. Plus this workout and you will be doing more than "losing a few pounds"! You will be a machine. Good luck!

  • @GregLamothe thank you very much mate. i just have to loose myb 2-3 kg because i have a little tiny fucking ass fat on my lower stomach :) the upper abs are visible ! ill go swiming coz i don't have a bag :(

  • @vukstevanic this will aid you in losing weight but you really need to stay active eat right and exercise on a regular basis if you want to see any results really fast. You should also check out my channel, cuz i upload free warm up, workout, stretching and ab routine videos! I also make video responses to questions that my subscribers ask me! Please Sub if you like my channel. Have a good one :)

  • 300 workout? so is it supposed to make you look like the Spartans from the movie 300?

  • @ColtsFootballFan91 it's the workout they did to get in shape for the movie.

  • @ColtsFootballFan91 I bet you aren't in shape! I'm pretty out of shape and after watching this video and a few others outlining the workout, I did the whole thing (like 20 minutes ago). It took me such a long time I'm too embarrassed to say but I finished it. For people who are starting from scratch, don't read this and try that because I have a lot of experience with exercise but don't listen to ColtsFootballFan91. I think the keyword in his name is FAN!

  • @GregLamothe what are you talking about? i work out like 6 days a week and thought this looked like a fun challenging workout. i weigh 190 and max on the bench at 250... i would say that i am in shape.

  • @ColtsFootballFan91 lol, sorry bro. I was responding to somebody else saying that this workout would just overwork your muscles but I guess I clicked reply on your post buy accident. haha. You must have been wondering where the hell I was coming from!

  • lmao this is just over working your muscles and killing yourself which wont give you muscle... just pain and problems.

  • @LatestUpdatesFTW Yeah, you are right about one thing: it WILL give you pain, but it sure also will build some muscle. overworking you say? Look at all crossfit athletes, they do this type of exercise 4 times a week, and yet they are fine. Dont hesitate trying this for yourself, you might be surprised. ;)

  • @Mer134 i cant do this one i could do the intermediate one =) this is like the advanced one

  • Comment removed

  • Humm somthing tells me you couldn't even do that ammount of work mate, you basically done 1 of each and was already out of breath!

  • @THERUBENIII it is 300 repetitions u idiot count them again.

  • yeeeeaaaa i cant do this

  • What are those blocks holding the barbels when he sits in bench press position?

  • p90x works for middle aged men wanting to lose weight but this workout and the Muscle Maximizer program is what will make you a beast!!

  • whats the point of this workout the Spartans lost against Persians in 300 movie anyways lol. Persian power!!!

  • Look how King Leonidas and his Brute Spartans play against Barca in PES 2011.

Please watch it you wont waste your 3mins

    /watch?v=v3fG2Vm6fQ8

  • Just casually have a massive tyre in your living room......

  • @sambamford1 hahah

  • lmao...i know,right

  • This is madness!!!

  • or one of each haha jk jk ;)

  • ^he's out of breath by doing one... bit of a fail to be honest lol

  • @jt4578 i promise you he is in better shape than you..why are you hating you fucking troll.

  • type in "give me 4 week abs" in the youtube box and click on the video with hearts in the title to learn how to get a 6 pack in 4 weeks.

  • @slikashi737 oh you... there isnt a video =(

  • funny thing is you will never get so ripped if you don't do cardio and adjust your nutririon

  • @23viktor23 yeah i have discovered that..

  • I did this for six months and didnt get as good of results as I did in one round of p90x!

IF YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED LIKE THE GUYS IN 300 DO P90X!!!!!!!!!

  • @Mrcherokee19 fuck p90x follow scooby1961 ;)

  • @23viktor23 no, p90x works better than anything out now.

  • Take part in the 300 Fitness Challenge at Konkura.com

  • 26:22 fml

  • Damn, I literally just did this for the first time, I swear I almost died lol. I finished in 21:45. What are some other times that people got?

  • Pull ups, deadlifts, push ups, box jumps, floor wipes, clean and press = 6 different workouts, NOT 7...that's why its called 300 workout...6x50 = 300...this guy can't even count...how are you supposed to believe him

  • @met0clopramide but there is 2 sets of pull ups

  • Comment removed

  • LOL! this is nothing compared to fighter's training....

  • Not as good as my workout video. I dare him to try it.

  • this isnt everything the actors did, i mean they had to flip tractor tires and other stuff i cant remember too but im sure this will also get you pretty ripped!

  • if you dont have a cettlebell can you use a dungbell

  • turn on transcribe audio, laugh your ass off.

  • @CoolGuyDaBest Lol that had me rolling.

  • he is exausted, doing everything 1 time <_<

  • SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • that's not even 300 reps, it's 275, maybe add another exercise with 25 reps to make it 300

  • @TheRubenKIII

It's for the film "300" dude.

  • @TheRubenKIII Youre dumb

  • @TheRubenKIII there are 7 exercises 5 consisting of 50 reps (5x50=250) and 2 exercises with 25 reps (2x25=50) 250+50=300

  • @TheRubenKIII lmao IDIOT.

  • Yo, I was wondering if you can do this in sets? like 5x5 on pullups?

  • @Hellem09

yes , although he said do them in as few sets as possible.

  • @Hellem09 well wen i did it my test wat i was told was each workout u get 10 seconds break and it stakes if u dont use it like

u dont use the breakon pull ups u got 20 seconds break for deadlifts dont use it u got 30 seconds for push ups etc

  • @ForsakenedPain Ty man! was done around 30 minutes of the exercise, and i was DONE! trained 4-5 times a week in over a year and this was the hardest exercise i've tested by far!!

  • oszołom:P

  • my baseball coach made us do that shit, i still cant feel my back and arms

  • 0:26 what was that cracking sound?

  • i dont have anything to do pull ups yet but i am 14 and i did allt that stuff but wen i had to do the 50 reps of all that stuff i almost puked... but overall i still did it haha:)

  • Madness? THIS IS SPARTA!!!

  • @ignaciodeltigre i may not seem like i workout. but have recently joined a barbell club and it is hard. floor sweepers may be easy at first. but get hard after a lot of reps

  • how does Floor Wipers feel? can someone tell me? is an interesting abs exercise,

  • @ignaciodeltigre The Floor wipers are intense as hell. Especially after doing the pushups and the pull ups, your arms are already hurting, so it isn't easy to hold the bar up. I was a three sport athlete in highschool with a sixpack and generally pretty ripped, and I've never had a more complete and hard ab workout.

  • @ignaciodeltigre floor wipes basically work your abs from the lower part all the way to the top and they give you a nice burning sensation all through-out your abs. I would definitely give them a try. You should also check out my channel, cuz i upload free warm up, workout, stretching and ab routine videos! I also make video responses to questions that my subscribers ask me! Please Sub if you like my channel. Have a good one :)

  • What are the things called that he is putting the weights on for floor wipers?

  • 0:45 is definitely going into my workout, ive never seen it before. thats one for the barbell complex!

  • chuck norris does this every day, but Bruce Lee does this as his warm up

  • no legs? kinda stupid.

  • @DinoCop NO LEGS, dead lifts = legs and total body, Plyometric JUMPING = as good as it gets to build legs in my book. This isnt meant to be a daily routine, this is more of a true measure of what kind of shape you are in.

  • One question, are this meant as daily exercises,do you workout every single day,or do you do one day workout-one day off?

  • @Locifer666 You work out 1 day then you rest two days and just keep repeating it.

  • @Locifer666 Depends on how badly you want to be a Spartan!

  • An intense workout for sure. The key to any fat burning working is the intensity. Most people think that intensity means that you run around the gym from exercise to exercise but that's false.

It's about the quality of the movement. Doing a workout where you go swings, deadlifts, chin-ups and other full body movement is KEY for having any intense fat loss workout.

  • i only can do 12 pol up

you want my to do 25

    shiiit man

  • he just can do one

but we shall do 50 per exercise? :D

  • I got tired watching this

  • This video was chosen to be on the front page of the website SupplementsTalk..

  • do it in a circuit if you have to.....10, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 10, 10, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 10, 10, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 10

the floorwipers and box jumps are nearly impossible to do in one straight set.

  • ur not as big as the spartans, , i think u only do "200" workout. -_-

  • the most stupid workout iv ever seen

  • very easy. then do abs in 8 min

  • Does anyone know where i can get the info or the workout the guys were doing to get in shape for 300? I do loads of working out (4x a week for 90 min per workout) i can build muscle fine but i cant seem to be able to shed the body fat? Any tips?

  • @djguy100 Shedding fat is done in the kitchen, not in the gym. Sort your calorie intake out.

  • @sbowesuk it is actually more effectivedoing both you have to do cardio for about 20 mins at a targeted heart rate or you can go crazy and do a 300 i havent attempted it but ive seen people done it before they didn't look to well when they finished lol.

  • @1l0velesbians My point was really to underline the fact that you can't just hit the gym to get in shape if you eat like a pig. Of course exercise has its place, but the problem is that too many people a) don't know what the hell they're doing, and b) don't know how the exercise actually affects their body.

One mistake many people make is doing ONLY cardio when they have little lean body mass. Less lean body mass = lower basal metabolic rate = less effective fat burning system.

  • @1l0velesbians (cont.) The answer is don't just do cardio. Add strength/hypertrophy training so you can raise your metabolic rate. Like they say, cardio is only really burn fat while you're doing it. Having lean mass burns fat 24/7.

I could go on but I get the feeling most of what I'm saying will fall of deaf ears.

  • @sbowesuk yeah that makes since i got a question though I'm 17 currently at 168 pounds 5'9" and 12% bodyfat. I'm working out again in the weight room after an injury i faced that ended my athletic career. I was wondering if you know how i can cut down to 7% body fat I already know how to add mass I just need help cutting down some fat.

P.S. I honestly don't do cardio, besides when i was on a wrestling team, it was some advice I seen on scooby's workshop.

  • @1l0velesbians There's quite a lot involved with doing a proper cut, so I'd recommend Googling articles on that one so you understand everything that's involved. The main mistake people make there is cutting too soon when they should continue bulking. The longer the bulk, the better the cut will be when it has run its course.

Personally I don't cut because I do powerlifting, not bodybuilding :P

  • @1l0velesbians increase your squats and deadlifts first, you should aim to get to 1.5x bodyweight for squats and close to 2x for deads. Once your there take out bread/rice carbs and increase veggies and fruits intake. Need I say that you must also consume a good amount of protein and water? Adjust your diet, and keep lifting heavy, NEVER, and i mean NEVER listen to anyone who says you gotta increase reps and lower weight..

  • @RSixBoy i can do more than 2x my bodyweight for squats and deads, but when it comes to my lower back and leg workouts im a little bitch so i do it once a week or once every 2-3 weeks. I usually just work on my upper body i guess its time for a change, but cut rice and bread out my diet :/ damn you do realize i'm haitian lol my diet is rice and chicken. Rice, beans, and chicken, or rice, bean sauce, and chicken. Well thx I'm going to cut down on my carbs and see how it goes.

  • @1l0velesbians No offense, but at your age I HIGHLY, HIGHLY doubt you can squat 2x your bodyweight. You are most likely squatting above parallel and not going past parallel when you go down. And yeah youve got the right mindset, I personally recommend squatting 1-2x a week(thats what I do), and yes squats and deads are your primary exercises, not bench or curls or any of that horseshit lol. I understand, I'm azn and we got rice. But once you decide to do it, you can easily leave out bread/rice

  • @RSixBoy well i never said i do it for multiple reps lol 400 is my max if i can get it recorded ill start posting some of my workouts on youtube, but I usually squat progressively from 225-335.

  • @1l0velesbians no thats not what I was saying. When your doing squats do you go all the way down or do you only go down partially where your thighs are 45degrees from the floor? Only by going all the way down are you truly doing a squat and reaping its benefits, only go partially down and you'll do nothing but waste your time, get no gains, and put stress on your knees. Go all the way down/past parallel

  • @RSixBoy :/ yep im doing half reps then i only go parallel. in that case i probably dont do 2x my weight then.

  • @RSixBoy what do you think of box squats vs full squats?

  • @1l0velesbians Box squats are AMAZING for building explosive power compared to the squats(not saying squats suck for performance). Should you do box squats instead of regular squats? My personal opinion, get to 1.5x bodyweight squat for at least one rep and then decide if you switch to box squats or not. I personally believe it to be much more beneficial because you are building that "foundation", and once you have built this foundation its gonna really help you with box squats.

  • Maybe I'm just being sceptical, but the '300 workout' looks like the most retarded and gimmicky routine I've ever seen. Ridiculous rep ranges, predetermined weight for the deadlift, almost all bodyweight exercises.

It's too hard for beginners, too easy for the advanced, and smart intermediates will be doing something of value like Texas Method. I see more people getting injured doing this shit than achieving their long term goals. Fail.

  • am tired just watching this ...

  • are there any supplements to aid this process??????????

  • @ajldavis First, I'd underline the fact that this is more of a fitness test than a routine, and a pretty gimmicky one at that.

Second, don't waste your money on supplements. They're grossly overpriced and largely ineffective, despite what magazines or people will tell you. A good diet (making sure you eat enough) is the true ticket to success, at a fraction the price.

  • And then call 911

  • Man the guys already out of breath and he's only done it once each time haha, this is rediculous

  • @guitayrplaya

if you're in good shape your supposed to start breathing heavy and sweating almost at the instant you start working out. this is because your body has a lower threshold for going into "work mode" body temperature rises fast and your heart and lungs immediately starts pumping out oxygen loaded erythrocytes to the affected muscles. however, this also happens to fat fucks when they eat or excercise the difference is that someone in good shape would cool down in a very short time.

  • yea....i did this shit last night, and i am fucked up lol.

  • notice his hard breathing haha. he's already tired

  • :O

  • haha fuck that... maybe i could do it if i cut it down to the 150 workout...

  • FUCK!!!!!

  • How many times a week ?

  • @Lincolngrandmaster

during production of 300 the actors did this on two separate occasions. reason is that it's only a test to show you how the rest of your training is coming along. they almost never did the same workouts twice. check out gymjones, that's the guys who came up with this stuff, it's also basically the same as crossfit.

it's no workout regime, just a workout. the 300 guys did one or two workouts like this a day for five days a week.

i do it every two weeks. down to 11,27 now : )

  • i find this really unnessessary...

u can just do 10x10 squats and get the same benefit

  • @492333 shitbull

  • @492333

i'd have to say this is a less boring way... even though it's harder. and the pull ups give a lot more than squats can help with alone.

  • I only saw him do 1 repititions LIES!

  • Now do it all.....

  • THE CAKE IS A LIE!!!!!

  • fuck it, i'll just take steroids.

  • @cassdaniel hahahaha

  • @cassdaniel thanks you just made my day lol

  • @savinmeagain yes i trimmed up 15 lbs and 3 % body fat, down to 8-9% starting at 11-12 %. abs came out way more from this workout, it makes people who've never heard of it stare and people who think they can hang wanna try it. it works well.

  • @globeemerica how often did you do it?and did you do it on top of your regular workout or just this one? thanks

  • that shits for pussys I've gone through the insanity and p90x workouts and they make this shit look easy. On those you do an hour long workout and then do an ab workout with 350 reps. Much harder.

  • @03wood the workout isn't ment to be more intense than p90x or intensity. its ment to be a challenge to yourself. to beat your time from each time you attempt the workout. I usually do this to start my week off everyweek and try to beat my time fromt he week before, then i move onto my workout for the day.

  • P90X and Insanity have nothing on Max-OT.

  • @03wood

    sure

  • just go to the idf, its for the real men

  • If this is the 300 workout . . . imagine what the Chuck Norris workout would be . . .

  • This guy sounded pretty tired after doing just 1 repetition of all exercises.

  • @TeachMeProperDancin I think he only sounded tired but he looked like he was doing pretty good though. I can't imagine even doing half of that. lol

  • @asiancowboy69 I think it was also the fact that he was talking the entire time as well.

  • @TeachMeProperDancin it aint fukign easy!

  • u do it with no brake, u finnish and u die :D that's at least for me

  • DUDE. FAIL. THATS 275!!!! LAWL!

  • @iansmibey Dude, honestly isnt 275 high enough? You go and try it and add another 25 then tell me how you feel :P But good point. I didnt even notice lawl.

  • @iansmibey 275? 25 pull ups + 50 deadlifts + 50 pushups + 50 box jumps + 50 floor wipers + 25 cleans EACH ARM = 50 REPS + 25 pull ups... that's 300. fail.

  • @iansmibey well if you listened.. he said.. do 25 reps of cleans EACH ARM -.-

wait.. i have a site for youu.... epicfail dot com >_>

  • u should at least do 2 reps so i can at least see how u start back again -_-.

  • awesome workout!

    theabstand*net

  • ive looked up the 300 workout on here about 20 times now, this one looks the best...for the people saying theyre gonna do this everyday..i dont think thats a good idea :/

  • @jmb4450 this is the official one, put up on Men's Health a couple years ago

  • i was wondering do you do this everyday?

  • @snowstaffordsnow You shouldn't do this every day. You need some days of rest to allow your muscles time to recover and grow.

  • @snowstaffordsnow No. Never work the same muscle groups days in a row.

  • this is a no rest workout

  • holy crap! 25 pullups =o

  • @ggjoe723 Most young military officers can do well over that.

  • i think nobody realizes that this workout is named "300 workout" because there is 300 repitions, not because the spartans did it

  • He did the 7 work out. haha

and for all those who say you couldn't do this, just take small breaks. then start up where you left off. eventually you'll complete the 300. each time you do it, it'll become easier and easier.
