Who would be crazy to stop the round of applause?

  • Joseph Stalin executed my Great Grandfather when my Grandfather was 17 for being a Christian, they came in the middle of the night and took him away never to be seen again, a month later we received a letter that he was a "Traitor" to the Communist Party for being Christian. Then after WW2 my Grandfather fought against Fascism and received many medals, he was later imprisoned for life for being Christian (Would have been death, but he had medals for WW2). Yeah, Stalin was great (Sarcasm).

  • STFU people, he's not going to kill you for not making a enough long and loud applause (probably).

  • For me this is a proof how much soviet people loved great comrade Stalin :)

  • @WhiteDeathSniper

He killed 20 million Russians, from the 6 millions he starved in Yukraine to the 10 million more who perished in his gulag death camps. He was a vile sociopath who tortured anyone and everyone who got in his way. And did USSR "Bury us in the long run" as Comrade Krutschev stated you would? No, 75 years after the killings started in 1917, Russia remained as nimble as a sloth. COMMUNISM WAS A HORRIBLE LIE AND A FAILED 20TH CENTUY EXPERIMENT ON HOW *NOT* TO GOVERN A COUNTRY.

  • Oh, comrade Stalin seems to get so fucking irritated.

  • All people around him are like robots, including those children who walking as mashines. All been programmed to a terrible and ridiculous way in the same time.

It is a shame to say Glory to Stalin, Lenin, Trotsky or Svederlov, for those who caused a hunger on the most fertile land and killed millions because they have served in the White Army, because of their duty.

  • He was a mass murderer. Good riddance to him, the scum.

  • Well, he did clean most of the Jews out of the party in 1937-8. Why was that?

  • @express770 He didn't target jews, and in fact Stalin had no hatred or dislike of jews. his beloved daughter svetlana married a jewish man who he liked alot. and many soviet war heroes and patriots--Lev Kassil, Yakov Kreizer, etc. etc. were all honored by Stalin publicly. don't buy into the propaganda.

  • @TheTranceCartel Thanks for that. I'm prepared to believe that some of the stuff I've been told about Stalin was propaganda. Apparently the Russian archives, now open to researchers, show that his victims numbered far fewer than was previously thought. I don't know to what extent Kruschev's figures in his closed-session speech (1956) were exaggerated. You may have something on that aspect. I have an open mind on Stalin, as on everything else. Thanks.

  • @express770

Hey, you mean he only slaughtered 19.5 million instead of the textlbook 20? Let's have a Stalin Day and hold a strike to get off work. What a *GREAT* humanitarian.(sarchasm) He killed more people than Hitler did in the Yukraine alone -- and you're buying into a post-modern revisionist interpretation?

  • @express770 Having thought more about this, and answering myself here, it may be that the reason for the large proportion of Communist Jews among Stalin's 1937-8 victims was that, as Jews, they tended to support Trotsky's internationalism as against Stalin's Socialism in One Country. That is, many Soviet Jews in the 1930s were not nationalists but internationalists (cosmopolitan). That may be a factor I hadn't thought of before.

  • @express770 Wasnt Trotsky's internationalism. Was Trotsky's ideas of the red army invading in all other countries (=fail)

  • The crowd wasn't allowed to stop cheering until they were given permission

  • @BuddyWillis That bell that you hear ringing? That is the bell telling them to stop. The bell does not give permission to stop, it tells them to. Stalin was always having too much applause like this, so the bell was the solution... but as you can hear, it doesn't work too well.

  • @RiClive

Stalin had them shot that night if they stopped clapping. Does ANYONE (even pop or sports superstars) inspire 5 minutes of delirious applause? If they loved him that much they'd go on clapping, which, in the numerous videos I have seen, NO ONE did. Stalin was a sociopath. He is the enemy of free will, the arts, music, literature, faith and a hater of humanity.

  • @unBolchevique

I guess this is right, but Russia was quite underdeveloped depressed by religion, masters and might psychologically need this - so he had to accept it.

  • Koba was the first hip hopper, demanding the audience give it up, yo.

  • Koba was demur.

  • @unBolchevique yes, more of that, he wanted that the people fear him

  • Our Great and Beloved, Stalin!

  • @Josif2Stalin go to hell why don't u go to the gulag and enjoy urself?

  • Bravo comrade, one of the truely great russian homosexuals!!!

  • @LondonCelts uhhh... WHAT?

  • The moustache was not real, he had to stick it on each morning with lenin's spunk

  • bloodthirsty beast.

  • What you see here, it is an art, nobody can do it like this. He knows how to take an ovation...

  • @fredericfranc no ur fucking retarded its called fear thats the only reason they clap for him dumbass

  • @kabanger ...I am not commenting on how the clappers are behaving...I am commenting on how the FUCKING JOE STALIN is behaving...it is easy for them...in this case it is much harder for him...he appeared in public very rarely...had very little experience with knowing how to behave in public...yet here he is doing a rather good job of it...that is WHAT I AM FUCKING SAYING IN MY FUCKING COMMENT, RIGHT?...like you gotta learn to read the fucking English with some comprehension..

  • FUK YOU I DONT GIVE A FUKWITH FUKING STALIN

  • @unBolchevique Talk about spreading complete untruths

  • all-nationall hysteria/ its good that it is in the past

  • Бедный Сталин, да заткнитесь вы идиоты безмозглые

  • VIVA STALIN ON HIS 131t BIRTHDAY!!

  • @JuliusAnudasson idiots omg need to get away from stalin page fucking brainwashed morons who like this monster?

  • Poor Stalin, it cant be easy with so much fans.

  • They wouldn't stop cheering so he had them all killed, 2:28 that was him giving the order there.

  • Comment removed

  • They can't hear the buzzer.

    He grows ever more irritated.

  • One of the 2 greatest leaders ever.

  • Everyone is thinking "please don't kill me or send me to Siberia, great father Stalin!"

  • Comment removed

  • this is during the height of the purge. A lot of people had lost friends & family members so they knew they'd better fall in line or fall in a mass grave.

  • @xn117 These people are grateful to Stalin for what he finally delivered them from their enemies and saboteurs, spies and traitors.

  • @victormsk495 I guess you'd think that if you're a high party member - but the average joe knew what was going on...

  • По истине Великий Человек , вождь и учитель ....СЛАВА СЛАВА СЛАВА!!!

  • he was great?

sure, he done some amazing things for russia, like industrialization, but should that really come at the cost of hundreds of thousands of lives?

Plus all the other people he had killed, or died due to his policies.

  • hehe what an egotisticl asshole does he ever smile the fucking robot

  • @nacionalbolchevique He hated National Bolsheviks too...

  • Here you're just stating obvious Kruschvite lies that Kruschev himself portrayed during the "secret speech". More scholarly historians like Grover Furr and "Zhukov" in Russia have totally ripped apart all the lies that Kruschev tried to spread during that speech. Stalin wasnt "decapitated" after the initial invasion. And yes.. people were caught and tried for "disloyalty" before the invasion. But France basically collapsed because of collaboration. So this wasnt possible in the USSR?

  • The purges effectively eliminated the threat of an existence of a 5th column inside the USSR. Which made it possible that USSR would carry the anti-fascist struggle untill the bitter end. This decision may well be one of significant historical importance. Because if the USSR wasnt able to fight till the end, we would all be under the third reich now. Nice comparison with "holocaust deniers".. trying to kill my credibility so people dont listen to my arguments or reasoning.

  • I dont say that there were no deaths in the USSR. Most likely is that thousands of people died. But you have to remember the historical circumstances that the USSR faced. During the Soviet civil war.. more than 10 imperialist countries invaded the USSR and attacked it from all sides. Causing a huge escalation of the war, and it caused famine that killed 8 million people alone. (that were later blamed on Stalin for "convenience sake"). It was the fault of the imperialists!

  • The real issue here is, how many of the deaths that were in the USSR are actually to blame on Stalin himself? i mean as a person and leader. You would have to analyse the social-economic construct of the USSR and the way their political system worked. The totalitarian paradigm gives a very simplistic image by saying that Stalin ruled with ultimate power, and through all institutions. But when u study the actual archives, you see that Stalin didnt rule in such a manner. Nor did he have such power

  • @Okhlopkov oh sure, the 8 million people in Ukraine died because of the imperialists, not because of stalin, those thousands and thousands Russian people killed (women, uneducated people from the countryside, who didn't even know what politics is) - that's also not stalin's fault, 20.000 polish soldiers in Katyn - that's also not stalin, that's the Germans. I also know some people who say that about hitler - Holocaust is a lie made up by the Jews...Murderer an bandit, that's what he is.

  • I wish the rules of the exact sciences were applied to the historical one because there is far too less source scrutiny than i would desire. Like i tried to tell you before, just study sources like Robert Conquest (who was in the british intelligence services, in the department of producing anti-commie propaganda), Roy Medvedev (Soviet dissident), Isaac Deutscher (anti-Stalin Trotsyite). Or what about Zbigniew Brzezinski, who began about "totalitarianism".. who became US NSA advisor. Neutrality?

  • Most of them clearly had only one purpose, to portray the USSR in a most negative light as possible (especially Stalin). Soviet "dissidents" seemed to have confirmed their most wild fantasies about Stalin and they came together and kept spamming it. (totalitarianism and the Trotsky/Kruschev narative). Soviet dissidents basically confirmed Western propaganda sources, thats how this "Stalin the totalitarian narative" came to be in the first place.

  • It has everything to do what we are talking about. Because i am attacking your "universally accepted facts". There is no such thing in any science, not in the exact sciences, and not in the social sciences (like history) either. Historical writings have been biased about many subjects.. but communism in general is the worst of all. The Cold War, biased right wing historians, historical sources based on second-or third hand testimonies.. the history of the USSR is even worse than the middle ages.

  • When you actually study the sources about Stalin, you'll find out that almost everything is based on three naratives: Anti-communist propaganda (mostly originated from the nazi's quest against communism). This propaganda was later taken over by the Western media/Historians. You got another narative from the enemies of communism (dissidents only, who mostly didnt live in the USSR in the time they were writing about it). And the Trotsyite/Kruschevite narative, which attacked Stalin for their gain.

  • All sources about Stalin is one big opinonated nonsense. One writer claims something about Stalin and he has no direct sources to make such a claim. And the other anti-communist historian quotes the other one that didnt have sources to make his claim. Then you have an unscientific nonsense story. You really need to be a detective to disentangle all the lies that people wrote about Stalin. From his outright "paranoia" to his "murderous" policies. When it comes down to it, its based on nothing.

  • I am just as opposed to dictatorship and totalitarianism just as any reasonable person. If Stalin actually was the dictator and the murderer that people make him.. i wouldnt support him either. I despise dictators in general. But my studies have taught me that Stalin was nothing similar to Hitler. Despite what historians and the media try to "teach" the big public. I believe Stalin was democratic in his rule, he ruled through councils composed of workers and specialists. He ruled with consensus.

  • My example about the geocentric and the heliocentric paradigms. Is that certain world views change radically through time and history. Just because a certain vision is extremely strong doesnt make it invulnerable from scientific scrutiny. I can attack the ruling paradigm about Stalin in so many ways that would make it crumble. And there is a growing number of historians who do the same thing. The only ones opposing changing thoughts about Stalin are the elites. Because they fear such a change.

  • Nice witty comeback. But yes, i dont agree with universally "accepted" facts. Sometimes the most accepted facts can be more distant from the truth than ever. People in the Middle Ages were getting ridiculed for attacking the view that the earth revolved around the sun. While it was infact the truth that is being accepted now. I am sure that when history writing becomes more scientific and less about bashing communism. That Stalin will get rehabilitated for his real role in history.

  • You got your head so far upto the totalitarian paradigm that i would be surprised if you could actually distance yourself from it. I came to my conclusions by actively studying all the historical sources around Stalin (Western and Eastern histiographic works). And i found out that Stalin was infact nothing like the public perception of him. I dont believe he was a dictator, but more in the style of an American president (with probably less power even). Cold War prop distorted the whole subject.

  • Prefiero a Hitler que a Stalin, porque por lo menos Hitler no masacro a su propio pueblo...

  • this was in 1937....i wonder how many of the people clapping here survived the great purge (1937-39).

  • WE LOVE YOU COMRADE STALIN! YOU STILL LIVE IN THE GOOD MEN'S HEARTS!

  • camaradas dejen hablar al viejo cabron a ver que enbustes va a decir , sino los va a purgar por esa demostracion exagerada de adulacion

  • He grows irritated.

  • @TroyaE117 He should of thrown another purge.

  • Иосиф Виссарионович Сталин

  • Stalin was greeted with thunderous applause for several minutes because whoever stopped applauding first was taken out and shot.

  • @kill3456 that story is told by that fascist bastard Gulag fellow--good source huh? Pity they didn;t wHACK HIM!

  • Great Stalin!!!!! We are love you!!!!

  • The free markets are evil, capitalism is evil. People in America are stressed and repressed by constant bills, and fees. This system is a system of death and pain. Long live socialism !! Long live Stalin and USSR. Fuck Ayn Rand, Fuck Neoliberalism !!

  • Fuck the Red Front i hope you burn in hell you little commie bastard, you are a pawn of the Jews and wish to destroy civilisation and democracy. "Comrades who the Red Front and Reaction shot dead march in spirit within our ranks. Sieg Heil"

  • Some of you people really don't realize the truth of the matter that this was during a time of extreme paranoia of political judgment. Pretty much the exact reversal of McCarthyism and to a much more extreme level.

  • Вечная слава Иосефу Виссарионовичу!

    СТАЛИН ЖИЛ! СТАЛИН ЖИВ!

    СТАЛИН БУДЕТ ЖИТЬ!

    За СССР!

    Михаил

  • This is actually terrifying. You can feel the terror in the crowd, it's palpable.

  • Just for the sake of argument. What if someone let a loud fart? Then what would then happen? I don't think the person that dealt it should be shot... but instead the fart alone would be at fault here people. Come on let's be civil about this, just for the sake of argument.

  • Fcuk you

  • I wonder how long it takes for a dictator to get tired of hearing his praises sung.

  • This was his best man's speech at Posh and Becks wedding, a bit long winded, but he'd been on the piss all day.

  • Are you really polish? Why do you use polish language? Do you like it? Ty zabył russkie bukwy?!

  • many people betrayed stalin, they accused soviet civilians as being traitors simply because they had a grudge and then blamed the deaths on stalin.

  • "Time will pass. The graves of the hateful traitors will grow over with weeds and thistle, they will be covered with eternal contempt of honest Soviet citizens.... But over us, over our happy country, our sun will shine with its luminous rays as bright and as joyous as before. Over the road cleared of the last scum and filth of the past, we, our people, with our beloved leader and teacher, the great Stalin, at our head, will march as before onwards and onwards, towards communism! "

  • This was not filmed at the Bolshoi Theatre, it was at the London Paladium when Stalin won Opportunity Knocks in the late 50's doing his much loved Bruce Forsyth impersonation, "Good Game, Good Game"

  • Stalin once played darts with Jocky Wilson in the Black Cap in Camden, a well known gay bar, Jocky let him win because he knew he would be shot if he didnt, and he had a very important match against John Lowe the next night.

  • Trotsky was an idiot revisionist and traitor bastard !!! Long live true communism !!!

Long live Marxism and Leninism !!!

Death to fascism and capitalist corrupt system !!!

  • Well speaked comrade!

  • Stalin opened the batting for Haywards Heath Cricket Club in a match in the summer of 1949, he got out first ball, the rest of the team were sumarily executed before tea, Great Dictator, Great Murderer, Rubbish Batsman.

  • Long live comrade Stalin!

  • @GKnight2020 fucking retard

  • Stalin once appeared on Blue Peter he was interviewed by young Johnny Noakes, he asked Stalin what a gulag was, Stalin stormed off and later had Noakes's dog Shep shot. A great man but an animal hater.

  • Long live great communism !!!

Long live Marxism and Leninism !!!

Glory to Stalin and Mao !!!

Glory to Red Army and Partizans !!!

    Death to Fascism !!!

  • YOU NEED TO STUDY THE HISTORY !!!!!

  • He also wore womens underware had excessive gas and extremely bad breath.

  • I wrote how you can be sure if you ignore it it's your deny. stalin was not the main part in the revolution anyway. politicans like kirow had the power to turn russia in a powerful country without killing millions. stalin raised industrie, but power was not to the people.

  • lol read the biographies of his mates of the inner circle around him, they ALL feared about their lifes, even if they adored him. I prefer the long proved, flexible approach to history: deep researches, many sources, not the phased and short worded propaganda. propaganda has a different approach, it is always adjusted to a certan period of political oppression. the period of stalin is over.

  • the applauded that long because the ones who stopped first were suspect... and had to fear their lifes. so if you have 2 options: to fear that you die or to be optimistic and enthusiastic, most decide the 2nd thing. that's why stalin had success.

  • you have no respekt for human life, like stalin. shame to the deepest middle ages of humanity.

  • It was well known that he was a bed wetting pederast.

  • A truly great man.

  • BRAVO COMRADE.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Glory Stalin.

We are the Russians, the best nation ever. Our country is godlike country without shite-european traditions like fuckin gay-partys and drugusing.

Awerybody who come here to our territory - will be in the grave.

    We hate Western.

  • sit down and shut up already - Stalin

  • he looks rather irritated... he uses the "stop applauding" bell several times and nobody stops :P

No seriously comrade Stalin was a very modest man I think he didn't really like this a lot :)

  • Ppl were scared to stop

  • no they weren't, lol, they loved him. Whether they were right or not to love him, that's not the point. They loved him but he hated the fact that they overreacted in it. Stalin always said they should glorify the party and socialism, not him, yet they did.

  • This isnt supposed to be called love.. Its something more like fear when every wrong thought might end your life or put you in prison or lager... Thats how it was, my grandpa used to tell me night stories : ) IT was like you couldnt even trust your family: ur with them or you gone

  • I know grandpa's enough who tell different stories... As long as you weren't making propaganda or criminal acts against the soviet system, you wouldn't be harmed. There is a difference between the Stalin era and the Krushchev-Breznjev-... era.

  • Yes you would be harmed... I cant really know everything that was goin on in russia, since Im lithuanian, but i know what was happening in my country.. 1941 departure to syberia.. Even some of my relatives were moved because they had some land here... And soviets and nazis were the only ones that were making propaganda here, really

  • In 1941 some factories were moved to siberia along with the workers, yes. Would it have been better if they'd fallen into the hands of the nazi's? I think not. Besides the lithuanians asked for Soviet help against the Germans...

The Stalin era were hard times, but there was no other way. It was either live hard or let the nazis win. In a fortress under siege, every dissidence is betrayal.

Yes, there were people that were sent to the GULAG innocent. But that wasn't official policy.

  • "Besides the lithuanians asked for Soviet help against the Germans..."

Thats a lie, that many consider true.. Lithuanians never asked for soviet help.. Ribbentrop-Molotov pact determined that..

Lithuania did get a right to choose though: allow russian forces to come to the country and get Vilnius city back from Poland, or not allow to do so. Either way soviets would invade into the country, and thats a fact..

And either way soviets had no right to stay in Lithuania after ww2 ended

  • BBC co uk : 1939 - The Soviet Union compels Lithuania to accept Soviet military bases.

    Keyword: COMPELS

  • LOL, you believe western media about the USSR? You've got to be kidding me :P The British refused to build up an anti-nazi pact in 1933 and 1938 when the soviets proposed it. Why would they be positive about the USSR, they even attacked after WW1.

There's a good book about the pact, but I don't know if it's available in English. It debunks some evident lies about it. The pact was the only way for the soviets to survive.

  • "The pact was the only way for the soviets to survive. "

I do agree with that... And I do agree that if Soviets didnt invade Lithuania, Nazis would. But thats no riht to say USSR were the saviors of Lithuania and other countries that they occupied.

Besides, thats western countries such as GB and USA that helped USSR win against Germany

  • "LOL, you believe western media about the USSR? "

Thats just stupid. Its not that I believe western media. Its that I believe the straight history.

  • And I think our arguing is just stupid since we rely on different sources of information.

  • That probably true :P

Anyway, just to let you know, GB and France didn't want to help against Germany (they refused all cooperation with USSR) until they were attacked themselves, and USA only came and saved the day after the Germans were actually defeated... That's a plain fact. But I'll stop here ;) grtz

  • I dont really think it is possible to applaud Comrade Stalin enough. This man deserves every single cheer and ovation in the World!

GLORY TO YOU COMRADE STALIN AND THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!

  • What a fuck are you talking about? What about starvation in ukraine?? All the people taken to syberia??

  • you can hear whoever laying on the buzzer to try and quiet the crowd

  • he doesn't look too much pleased

  • He doesnt look too pleased because he hated the "personality cult", it was imposed on him, not created by him..

  • lol Stalin's like "OK OK....I GET THE POINT...LOVE YOU TOO DAMN IT!!" :)

    scary dude though.

  • Lunga vita Compagno Stalin! You and Great Soviet Union saved the world

  • anyone know what he says at the end?

  • i think its "thats enough"

  • great ovation in times of great purge... anyway Stalin was fucking genius

  • The first one to stop clapping was sent to the gulag...that is why it carries on.

  • You think you are so smart by repeating propaganda. How would you receive person, son of shoemaker, who build great country just in few years after the civil war, saved human race from fascism, gave to people, like my family, hope and education? Stalin was the Greatest leader of my country. All that propaganda about millions killed, dont listen to it.Democracy killed millions in Russia, that what English scientists just said.We loosing 1million people a year now.

  • He built a great country by killing and starving millions of his own people, and by forcing them to work without a paycheck and food.

  • Interesting that you project capitalist's society mentality and methods onto other people...

And you are barely a teenager. Such highly educated mind... At least, you proved us that being brainwashed gives you something 'positive' after all...

  • propoganda!?

it seems you are ill informed, how would you explain the numerous show trials and the millions of peasants shipped up north and left to rot? there can be no denying did many great things for russia, especially with regards to industry and the war, but millions died as a result of his rule.

  • Its, unfortunately you, who is ill informed, (brainwashed)

I would like you, to logically connect alleged killings and deportations as hardcore rule/effect of communist 'rule' as you suggested? To at least prove yourself having some intellectual faculty between your ears for future discussion. (worth time)

  • And with all this glory, this man didn't have a bank account! He used the same coat for 20 years. He didn't leave his children millions of dollars, unlike todays leaders. He worked 18 hours a day for the glory of his country, yet he was reading up to 300 pages a day. He never went to college, but his knowledge in different fields was on the level of PhD professor.

  • @elz9001 No,he didn't leave his children millions of dollars. He sent them to Siberia.

  • Stalin's bloody reign dirtied the communist ideology and it's a sad fact that people these days often think that cos u're a commie, u agree with him *sigh*

  • hah even he got tired of it by the end.

  • чудовище

  • Monstro

  • India needs Stalin right now!

  • Don't be selfish. World needs Stalin!

  • Za Stalina! Za CCCP!

  • Zabył russkie bukwy?

  • Viva siempre el camarada Stalin.

  • Stalin, Hitler... Both were killers, nothing more

  • Slava velikomu Stalinu! Lyubimy Stalin!! Ura!!

  • RIP Great Comrade

  • He looked bored towards the end.

  • i think is not bored but angry about this nonsense-ovation

  • Long Live the Great Tovarish Stalin!
