How to fix iphone restore problems error 2003, 2006, 2005 etc.

Holey Moley it's that simple!! I had on of those black-colored 6-ft-long cables (not that color matters...LOL) and swapped it for a GENUINE APPLE short cable. MAKE SURE IT ACTUALLY SAYS "Designed by Apple in California" on the wire near the iPod connector port plug. It still doesn't make sense why it works because I've restored many other iPods with the black cable...

@jmorellini I've been getting so many errors its hard to count but recently i've finally got it out of restore mode by using a program now its stuck on the simcard screen so yea im fucked but its was usually 1015

No worries guys :) As i said it wont fix everyones problems cause there are a few possibilities linked with each error code, but this may work for you as it worked for me and many others, and is something so easy to overlook. If this doesnt work another possibility is trying on another computer, some usb ports for some reason dont work. Keep liking if it works for you cause its kinda being overrun by dislikes when it has clearly helped many people :)

What did work for me was inserting the native simcard instead of the simcard unlocked with Gevey Supreme...

and of course, putting in DFU mode.
