Sigh.. No one gives a fuck about what Dave wrote while he was in Metallica. He didnt even wrote something slightly as good as his stuff in Megadeth in that band. He got the band popular in LA and Frisco by stage presence and good playing. Hetfield and Cliff are Metallica, not Dave. Dave just needed some more time, breathing space and heroin.

Then around 1985 when he formed Megadeth, it was like a nuclear explosion leaving a 10 year long genious radiation trail of THRASH METAL.
