Not very wise of your instructors to start an engine like that on an engine stand designed for builing it, not starting it. Where did you go to school?
WOW what the Hell... how long does it take to hook up a fuel pump and just use a gas jug for fuel. That Fire is GREAT on the Carb.. :) I understand wanting to fire it up after the rebuild, but don't screw up everything you just fixed..

5 gallon can, 12V fuel pump, return line...don't lift up your visor so you can get your face in there to blow on the fire. Heavy welding glove work better. Nice looking motor but you guys are going to wreck something.

@Cams450R yeah but how are you gonna fire the injectors with out a pcm? agreed the first start is hard on it useing starting fluid but it would envole much more then just a fuel pump
Atleast the sound is pretty impressive for a v6
