Blur improved so much over the course of their career... never could get into this early stuff. They really hit their stride, along with Pulp, in the late 90s and Gorillaz is a continuation of that.

Britpop has an anthemic and overtly British (hence the title) sound to it. None of those songs you listed have that. The best possible example of Britpop are Oasis and Blur. Nothing Radiohead has ever done sounds like that.

Britpop took Indie and made it mainstream, for the 1st time in years we in the UK had something of our own, not imported from America, it was ours. London became the cultural capital of the world once more and we Brits could be proud of our music/fashion/cinema etc for the first time since the early 70s. It wasn't perfect but it was a hell of a lot better than the karoke crap of today!
