@0AcrossAmerica0 your more than welcome. How are you sequencing/recording your tracks just out of interest. What gear are you using as well if you don't mind me asking?
@reckonermk1 No gear really other than an M9 stompbox modeler for looping/effects. Everything goes into logic for additional effects and overdubs. Most of what you're hearing are just guitar loops.
You have some really beautiful timbres going on but I think you could work on their development over time to engage your listener more.I'd suggest going to look at 12k's website, they have some wonderful artists doing similar things. Tomasz Bednarczyk is probably my favourite and his album 'let's make better mistakes tomorrow' is well wort a listen. I also feel that the transition form soft to loud is a bit to quick. Ideas could be brought in earlier to reference the forthcoming developments.
@reckonermk1 Thanks for the comment and especially the criticism. Part of the beauty of these recordings for me is their rushed nature. Upon repeated listens their flaws really stick out. With this one, I noticed the abrupt soft to loud soon after uploading.. I like the idea of the ears being overwhelmed rapidly by such loud, warm textures, but I agree that it could be introduced more gracefully. Thanks so much for the album recommendation as well. It's nice to have a starting point.
this needs to be and will be used in a movie- love love love
