About 5 seconds to 60 if you would give it all its got. not bad. but then again its a 6L car right? Bentley GT has 6.5L and 650hp from it (with 2 turbos), and its a HEAVY ass car probably 1.5x weight of this thing, and reaches 60 in 4.4 seconds.
So again American ingenuity really isnt that great for what this pulls out of 6L engine (although this doesnt have any turbo, right?).
@journeytosilius Dude that Bentley has a 6L W12 Twin-Turbo instead of 6L NA V8. 4Wheel drive to rear-wheel drive. 4doors to 2 doors. Made for playboys, G8's for family. Why not compare your Gt to a Ariel Atom V8?
@journeytosilius yeah no turbos, its 6.2L it its actually the GXP it pulls 415HP 415 Tq. then again, this LS3 engine is the same a a corvette ZR1 if im not mistaken, plenty of aftermarket can be installed indling twin turbos if you would prefer. but in racing, shedding weight is a big part of winning game.
@journeytosilius car has a 6.2 l bone stock at the time of video naturally aspirated and would run 0-60 in mid 4.5~4.7 range, now with headers and high flow cats it is in the low 4s. For the money, it;s great, hp plus those 3.73 rear end gears this sedan moves and has the potential to be so much more with turbos or supercharger.
@journeytosilius American ingenuity is great, we have this kind of performance out of a car that is a fraction of the price of the Bently GT. If they were the same price, then you would have an argument.
@journeytosilius that's correct no turbo chargers are added. even though with V8's should be supercharged as the American way would have it. Just curious but how much does a Bentley GT cost? They should probably get more horsepower out of a $200,000 car. So for $40,000 I would say that 6.0 liter has plenty of power.
