Haha, I'm going to get so much stick for this but I really have learnt to hate that flute over the past hour or so! That being said it is nice to hear where Kraftwerk came from :-)
@dwainedibbly Honestly speaking,it was not until three years ago that I found this song. I hope Kraftwerk re-releases this album. Thanks a lot for your comment!
Ralf und Florian ist meines Erachtens ohnehin ein exzellentes Album zwischen Experiment und dem, was Kraftwerk später als Technopop bezeichneten. Schickes Video.
the flutey kraftwerk tunes are my favourites! they should re-release their very early material! i think its their most interesting material! sounds so mysterious and experimental now years later!
@shaneshaky1 Absolutely agree. I think Kraftwerk missed a trick. There was no way they could continue in the 2000's to be at the "forefront of technology" because that had become available to everyone (Hutter/Schneider love that it is so).
So a return to this experimental sound would, in my humble opinion have been the better choice...
Agreed, though I have to say I'm not crazy about the 1st and last tracks on side 1. Kinda boring. The rest is outstanding. I always thought they should remix Kristallo in their new techno-dance idiom.
Ralf & Florian is such an amazing album...there's nothing quite like it in the rest of the Kraftwerk discography. There's more instruments, experiments and ideas on that album than anything else they ever did.
Anyway, great job on the video. I hope you can do one for Ananas Symphonie next.
Very interesting to hear and see; thanks for making/creating and putting up!
