There was an advert for holidays, I think in ther Mediterranean recently on ITV. I haven't seen this advert for a few weeks now but the advert used classical guitar music, which I think sounded really nice. Do you know the music that I'm talking about? If you do, could you please tell me what it's called?

The james villa one uses the famous 'Run Rabbit Run' song played on brass instruments and the like. So maybe it was the wine one?

I'm a bit inexperienced on the guitar but I really love QI and am determined to be able to play the theme :)

Well to do this video I used windows movie maker and overlapped the three layers to make a final composition.

However, windows movie maker is a bit shite so i'd recommend researching other methods of multitracking.

Still if you have yourself a mike and webcam just record one part (don't forget to count/tap yourself in) and save it as a finished video. Then play that video whilst you record the next one over the top (try not to have it playing too loud or the volume will get too loud).

then add the two together (one audio track and one video track) and save again.

You should then be left with a finished video of the two tracks mixed. So then repeat the process with the final layer and save again. Add some pretty pictures and Alan Davies' ugly mug and there you ave it.

A bit of a ballache I know but that's how i did it. Good luck hope you get what I mean.

out of interest, where did you find the bass tab for it? cause i've been searching for it online...

I transcribed it from sheet music I found on the net. I don't have the tabs for it anymore, I'm afraid. If I had time I'd tab it out again, but alas I seem to be eternally busy.

If I get easter leave this year I may think about tabbing it, unless you want to have a crack yourself of course.

The composer is Howard Goodall, I think and the tune is titled 'QI Theme' (again this may not be the case).

I did tab it out from sheet music when I transcribed it but then my little brother restarted his computer and, alas, it was lost forever.

I was going to re-tab it for another guy who asked but I've just never found the time...

If however I do make it again I'll try to let you in on it.

Good luck anyway. If you are any good with sheet music, the original composer is Howard Goodall. You could probably find it on 'Hamienet' I suppose.

Lol I'm glad you like it that much. To be fair I'd like to make it a bit cleaner if I had the time, because my strings were old and I'm rubbish with technology.

It's not a widely watched show I assume, as it's quintessentially British. That might be partly why the views are low.

I'll tell you a good way of gettin a decent mic. Buy a singstar package for ps2. I hate the games, but the mics are actually quite good, and they have ordinary mic plugs which should easily go into your pc!
