I remember this show too. You're right none of my friends of any age has heard of it. I bought the box set at Christmas. It had been recorded straight off bravo by someone! Still a good watch though.

OMG!!! hahaha, I remember this tv show!!! I was like.... 5 years old!!! hahaha..

I browsed for it thinking: "it is so old, I am not going to find it" and here it is!! I used to enjoy it so much.

I am glad I found people who remembers this show, out of all the people I know, NO ONE knows what am I talking about and they all look at me like if I am insane talking about an artificially intelligent handsome hologram whose body shines in blue... hahaha.

Don't worry man, both shows did exist and they were aired back in late 1983, unfortunately they were short lived (Automan, 13 episodes; Manimal, 8 episodes). I miss the 80s!.
