I am one of the girls in the video. It was made in 2002...I am in my 30s now. The song was used on the soundtrack for what was once the most downloaded internet movie of all time 'Bikini Bandits'...hence the reason for the girls in the video. The movies, the video, etc. were created by Gyro Worldwide, a marketing firm that produces ads for M&M/Mars, Puma, etc. The 'G' in 'GMart' is for 'Gyro'. Gyro is famous for mocking 'sell outs' & the girls, the T-Shirts, etc. are all tongue in cheek.

Panic At The Disco focus alot on image and how the band is potrayed look wise but when you look at phantom planet you see a band that is focused more on the music. Plus the lead singer of phantom planet acually sings instead of talking his way through the verses and singing mildly in the corus. I love Alex's voice, it's so unique and he sounds like a nice person.

Panic always hated when people cared more about the way they looked than about their music

that's why in A Fever You Can't Sweat Out they barely showed their faces, and they weren't mainly in most of their music videos.

Sure they wore make up on stage and stuff, but that was only for the theme of their tour

I remember standing outside in the bitter January cold pretending to be happy w/ an army of other extras, while they played this song & "California". On top of that it just snowed, so standing in it was a bitch on the feet! & yes "G-Mart" is still in business.
