Heather, I use my Trekker Breeze with the headphones on all the time. Because the gps is not speaking all the time, you can still hear others around you. I think it is OK to wear headphones while using the Trekker. I upgraded the software to version 2.0, it is great. You can enter addresses in two ways: directly into the Trekker or by importing a .gpx file. Good luck to you Heather.

I upgraded to the 2.0 software too on my Trekar. And it's definitely very useful. I love it.

I don't like the Sendero GPS either, lol. It was way too much for me.
You should look into the Trekar Breze more, since you're interested in it.
And yes, it's really easy to use. Even though there are a few cons about it, it's still pretty amazing.
I actually heard there's going to be a software update on the Trekar Breze. So maybe the cons will get fixed then.
