I don't really understand the "tire" complaints. Elephants are just as easily trapped in the wild (there's a video on here about a baby elephant rescued from a watering hole). Clearly the elephants enjoy playing with the tire, it was just an unfortunate incident. Is it possible to admire the intelligence and social skills of animals without bashing humans?
I wonder who that Einstein was, that came up with the idea to dangle that tire like that, when common sense should tell him/her an elephant's limb could go into it and get trapped like that. Ironically, while the problem showed how socially caring and smart these majestic creatures are, without hands like ours to easily free their friend from such an awefully, dangerously placed tire, it also showed how mindless humans can be... sometimes....
I would love to see the aftermath. We always seem to cut the news tape after the exciting part is over, but I love to see when they come together afterward and celebrate or comfort each other.
I wish I had friends like that not a bunch of ass holes

That was truly amazing! They are so smart and show emotions just as we humans do.

Once again I'm amazed at how quickly elephants coordinate themselves whenever one of them is in need of help. Amazing.

They are truly the most caring animals.
If more people would care for each other like the elephants, how great would that be?

Elephants are social and intelligent animals, and can cry of sadness like humans.
