that is an airgun if i don't believe it, possibly the 20mm airgun, dead powerful, recoils like a rifle...you look at the other vid when he's about to take down the buffalo, look at the bolt, its waaaay to small of a size for any rifle bullet, probably a 22 long can fit in it, but there's no way a 22 long can take it down easy. and 22 long rifle aren't that long and big either. they're just a tab bigger than a pellet rifle.

Yeah they make hunting airguns and they got some power to them. One of my dad's buddies is a serious airgun hunter and he's killed everything from squirrels a wild hog with one. But a buffalo, that's still kind of a stretch. That's something I'm fixing to google right now, because just cause I saw it in a video ON YOUTUBE that doesn't mean I should believe it.

a 182 grain bullet at 798 fps. thats slower and weaker than many pistol rounds. not suitable for hunting at all. if they did actually kill that bison they just got lucky.

the slug ended up on the other side of the bison and yes they did record the shot but you would have to buy the vidio. Bigbore Airguns has it for sale. Also you did not look under the .457 LA which is putting out about 550fpe the 182 gr. round ball gun is the bandit and is for deer and smaller.

No way it is possible with an airgun. If it is placed perfectly at the heart. Even the 1,600 fps one, will not go through the hide AND the very thick skull (which is made too crash heads with other buffalo). And you would need to be lucky because ounce a 1,600 pellet hits buffalo hide(way thicker than deer hide) and the fat, it will be going like 400-600 fps which will need to miss bones that ARE there.

No you're right! but the one that I used had been modified to push a 510 grain bullet to 705 fps which is just over 555 fpe!. So, as you can see there are alot more FPE's in your rifle too.

Thanks but I can't take credit for it. The rifle is just so easy to shoot. It's a Quackenbush air rifle. Both shots were on top of each other no more than 1" apart. Again, Thanks. The buffalo I took last year took 3 rounds double lung shots + 1 to the spine to finish it. M1A .308.. thats 3 times the power of the airgun hes using. These things are hardy animals.

The quackenbush i got is the .50 caliber bandit its about 182 grains shoots about 801 fps and does 259.35 FPE the beeman FWB 700 is a precharged air rifle used in the olympic games it only does 1800 fps with a .22 bullet doing 150 FPE
