  • Only Monty Python...

  • Apparently the Pythons haven't got their French right. When they say 'la jambe droite' they point to the left leg, and when they say 'la jambe gauche' they point to the right leg!

  • @MackeMas To be fair these guys did much better with their French than I ever I did.

  • @MackeMas no no you got it wrong. They did it right. He pointed to the good legs. He was pointing to YOUR left while pointing to HIS right.

  • The blue rag covering a whole person - how very relevant to today's France.

  • @olliepwnsall unfortunately, Monty python was ahead of their time...

  • As a French girl, I didn't see what was so funny about this sketch...

  • @Yellowsubmaurine This sketch comes right after the Ministry of Silly Walks sketch in which a man is offered the chance to study 'La Marche Futile.' Basically, its just more silly walking with two guys being stereotypical frenchmen and the normal randomness that most people who know anything about Monty Python should come to expect. That said, I agree. It, alone, isn't one of their funniest sketches.

  • Je m'appelle Jean-Brian Zatapatique. Ce n'est pas tres drole pour moi. Je ne suis pas un homosexuel celebre!

  • The name of the walk is La Marche Futile...

    that's hilarious

  • Le lol

  • As someone who is half-English and half-French, I feel this represents the very pinnacle of both of our cultures.

  • @FlippinBooks On both sides of your body?

  • i have no clue whats this about but i love it

  • Oh merci mon petit chouchou x'D

PTDRRRR Trop fort les Monty Python =)

  • Hahaha merci mon petit chouchou!

  • La Poof celebre!

  • I love the stereotype split, bowler hat and pinstripes, striped jersey and beret,it's ludicrous, and yet recognised all over the world as typically representative of Britain and France

  • It's funny when people try to speak french. Or write in french... Doesn't really matter. Funny none-the-less.

  • Hey. It's still my fourth language. Even if I made that mistake, I am nonetheless proud to have learned French.

  • what are they saging?????

  • HA! Extremely funny, I love the Monty Python parody on the French.

HA! Extremement drole, j'adore les blagues de Monty Python sure les Francais.

  • its just a conncoction of various french words interloped with such things as 'puf soliel' or somthing and 'brian trubshaw' (mentioned in the other frenchman sketch about the flying sheep) who was cheif test pilot of concorde, probably in the news a bit at the time these were aired. Great stuff though

  • lol!! man thats funny!

  • Yeah it's John Cleese and Michael Palin who are speaking. We can recognise their voices. I don't really understand what they even if I'm french :p

  • there were never any french people. that was just part of the cast speaking french. i'm pretty one of those guys was john cleese.

  • I have no idea what I just saw. I love it!

  • There's no french men in the flying sheep sketch...100% british made mate ! Oh merci mon petit chouchou ! LOL !!!

  • haha est-ce que tu parle francais? C'est tellement drole ce video!

  • Tu parles. "Parles" with s because c'est deuxieme personne singuliere.

  • AH NON!!!!

  • And it's not "deuxieme personne singuliere" it's deuxieme personne du singulier.

  • were the french men from the flying sheep sketch?

  • Yes, John Cleese and Michael Palin, they're great (but Eric Idle is "mon petit chouchou")
