  • Hi, I don't believe in god either buddy, but I personally feel about 1/2 of religion is good, for instance helping the poor and needy in Africa is okay, but when they force them to convert in order to get that same food, I don't like that, in my opinion god is like Santa Clause, not real but teaches us to be good so that it's okay to believe in him...

  • @onlineidiot1994

he knows if you've been bad or good/so be good FOR GOODNESS' SAKE

  • (some constructive criticism my friend)

I seriously love your videos really, but the people you are trying to inform are simple minded and slow and won't watch the whole thing, especially if its a six part epic like this one.

In the nicest way, I suggest jazzing it up, making them funnier again, like the older ones, toss in more ridicule, and maybe try and summarise your view a bit more.

Just something I think might help, I still love your stuff dude keep it up.

    HAIL FSM! RAMEN!

  • LOL at you (fsm)dude.

    *shakes head*

  • this video lost m?

  • Agila1: "Tolerance and respect"

Yeeah... atheists support gay rights, support rational dialogue over abhorant sectarian violence, greatly support scientific progress, believe in equal rights across all people, and generally are the most tolerant and respectful people you'll meet - but we're intolerant and disrespectful because we DARE criticize and ridicule others' stupid ideas. Riiight.

  • «atheists support gay rights»

Atheists in general I might say, because wer're like a bunch of cats: Impossible to control and independant.

  • Thanks for the good catch; too often do I succumb to the notion that all rationalists are similar to the majority of them.

  • bbugenott: Any evidence to support your bizarre assertion?

  • tommyfromthebronx is far more morally superior then yokeup. and religionists persecute people who don't follow their religion by either killing them or segregation.

  • "Voila! Hey Agila1, do you have something to say to that?."

of course: gonna try to work at it

once again: next time: inform me about your responses: I'm not subbed to you

  • After part 3 I was too lazy to select wich video it was a response to.

  • np, I watched them all already

  • "Maybe you should get a job... volunteer at a retirement home; maybe that would tell you what life is all about"

Of all the arrogant shit, this is probably the most offensive; it makes a few unfounded assumptions - he's jobless, spends all his time making videos, never helped out the elderly, and that seeing a large number of people near death wouldn't seem, to an atheist, a strong argument for the importance of retaining life and vitality.

  • uh you missed one important word, eh?

I actually see you as the one making the false accusation

    try again

  • Oh? Which word?

Also, I didn't state you made a false accusation; I stated that you made a decidedly arrogant statement without due information. You'll note that I switched which one was most offensive, but the point still stands.

  • I take that back. "Which are both part of love; something that mature minds can comprehend..."

I can't even respond to that. That you think atheists are incapable of feeling love is far more than enough.

  • "That you think atheists are incapable of feeling love is far more than enough."

YOu should really look into the mirror :)

  • Happily married, deeply in love. If I don't love you, don't get jealous; it's just that you come off as an arrogant prick.

  • Fordi, you accuse me of things I have not said.

    Not so factual, are you?

  • I've made no accusations. And, apparently, you think that transparent implications are off limits.

    That's a shame.

  • Of course, you did.

I started a conversation with fsmdude: not anyone else, then you accuse me of accusing atheists to not be able to love.

    Now isn't that grand???

  • Which is implied by the quote I provided. Very selective to omit that.

  • not at all

considering you quoted me directly addressing fsmdude: not you or anyone else

    where's the logic, eh?

  • atheists are more moral and less persecutive than religionists.

  • Not necessarily, bbugmenott. An atheist just doesn't believe in any gods.

Now, add qualifiers like rational and educated to atheists, and your statement rings true when it comes to the deeply religious.

  • I don't know any studies that show that. But, on the other hand, there is plenty of studies that show that religious folks are not morally superior than others (in fact, the more religious a country is, the more likely it will have higher crime rates, murder, rape, poverty, etc...)
