With respect to the crowd's reaction, I once saw video of Hendrix playing in a London hotel lobby. He stood in the corner with a Marshall stack behind him rocking out as one would expect Hendrix to be rocking out. The hotel patrons either paid no mind or walked by with confused looks on their faces. Same exact thing here.

I don't mean to appear rude, however, I reckon that the crowd look uninterested because, quite frankly, the performer does. Nothing against the guy, he's clearly talented, however. he spends the song gazing at his fretboard, and while he does move, I didn't see a smile or even a tiny indication that he was having fun, and that's a mistake most guitarists tend to make when stepping out of the bedroom, and what seperates the amateur from the professional. With more presence, this would be perfect.
