Whilst i'm not a Hip hop fan, i was brought here by an Iron Maiden link and i have to say she's used the lead line of The Clansman to great effect. I don't know why some Iron Maiden fans think that both themselves and the band have to only listen to metal!

I think Brandy has actually respected The Clansman with how she's incorporated it into her song and I'm sure Steve Harris of Iron Maiden would have given her permission otherwise it wouldn't have been released!

Some people actually think this is auto tune? Um no. Brandy layers her voice. She does a lot of her backing herself. She's unique in that way. She has the ability to use what she has to great effect. I think only one other person does their own backing vocals as well and that's Mariah Carey. This album (Afrodisiac) was some of the best vocal production ever. All Rihanna fans should thank Brandy for that album. Rihanna used it as inspiration for Good Girl Gone Bad.
