  • I have always loved this song but now that I'm getting divorce it takes a whole new meaning, it does fit perfectly!

  • south park

  • A girl got me into the cure a couple years back and i've been really into their albums the last few days, trying to learn the love song guitar tabs. its all so deep and dreamy

  • Still makes me cry, especially now when i grew up and actually understand the meaning...

  • I heard this song for the first time today if you can believe that! I know, where have I been right? The only songs I ever really knew were Just Like Heaven and Love Song. They both were played alot at my highschool dances and during lunch while my friends and I sat in campus circle. This song has rather enlightened me to this band now. I can see that there is alot of musical talent.More than I imagined. The 80's had so many awesome songs and now I can add this one to awesome music! Great song!

  • the most romantic album ever made in my mind. takes me back to my first love.

damn what am i saying i better go drink some beer and watch some footie quick! lol

  • Why wasnt i born 24years earlier? i would have been 18 in 1989 and would have been part of that great time when people knew what real music is!

  • Thank Robert Smith for The Cure! Not god. God has fuck all to do with anything.

  • @electrizer WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU TO TELL US WHAT GOD DOES OR DOESN'T DO???

KEEP YOUR STUPID COMMENTS TO YOURSELF, YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!

  • This album premiered when my father died, this song always haunted me, it walked me through what he was going through on his way out( " I never said I would stay to the end") they say the dead envy the living, so I will have to do amazing, good luck to us all......

  • well, mossad chased the SS around for years getting every last one of those damn bastards, so for putting GODDAM COMMERCIALS on the tracks WE GREW UP WITH....hmmmm.....any ideas?!?

  • Ah, how this song sends me back. The Cure is an entity unmatched by anything.

  • I've been all over the place in terms of music... metal, jazz, prog, classical, psychobilly, industrial. The Cure is still my favorite band by far. Nothing beats them for their sheer, cathartic, beauty.

  • This song makes sense ....somehow , it describes existence itself in such a honest way.

  • One of my all time favorite songs ever!!!!! So emotional, painful and gorgeous,I love The Cure.~A

  • 21 people should disintegrate!

  • I was 150 in 1639...shut up.

  • Robert Smith makes the darkest, most beautiful poems I have ever heard....

  • The sound of my deepest thoughts swirling through a maze of darkness at an intense velocity. That`s how I interpret this song. Its understands me.

  • This song had me in so much anger. Oh God, I'd never felt that way before through a song but only with this album!

  • I'm crying

  • I was 13 when this song came out. In 1989 this album literally propelled my young mind out of the crappy r&b,rap, pop scene and directed me to the kingdom of alternative, shoegaze, punk, goth & grunge forever. Thank you Robert Smith.

  • @pdoghb5 Same thing here, when we moved to OK I was into Run DMC and all and I happened to come across the Cure's B sides tape and it changed my taste in music forever! :)

  • @pdoghb5 I get that you prefer alternative punk goth and all but there's really no need to call RnB/hip hop crappy! There are some good songs out there of every genre!

  • @pdoghb5 I was 13 in 1989 too. what a door that opened for me to express my thoughts in music. I miss that era

  • Comment removed

  • @pdoghb5 Holy shit I like all of those genres and you are pretentious as fuck. This is why no one like Cure fans. Because they're all unbearable.

  • @teethofghosts Hey do you work out a lot? Because you are so internet tough. You just stated that millions of people are unbearable and nobody likes them? Who's the pretentious one??

  • @pdoghb5 Yeah, it takes being really tough to call someone out on being obnoxious. And haha whaaat? I don't think you know what "pretentious" means, friend. Because it didn't even fit into what you were trying to say. I mean I GET what you were trying to say but it was dumb.

and no I'm not saying anyone who listens to The Cure has their head up their asses like you, but your stereotypical The Cure fans do.

  • One of the most beautiful songs ever written.....perfect when you are feeling at your worst...

  • Perfect for Kobe Bryant and his wife. Perfect for Tiger Woods and his wife. Many men fuck up for one night of pussy. Can we deny ourselves such pleasures? That is the question. Deny your flesh!

  • I`ll pull out my heart and feed it to anyone.........

  • How do you create an album like disintegration and then look at yourself in the mirror like you did the day before?

  • @bastardluv with a lot more money than you had before every one discovered you were a fucking genius...

  • @amberjokid Hahahahahahahaha! Perfect...nice.

  • Saw this, second row center at what was then called Fiddler's Green, Denver Colorado, September 1989. I have the setlist from the show with Robert's footprint on it. The greatest show. Ever.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this! It's my favourite album! <3

  • Back in college I saw the Cure on this Disenigration Tour in 1990 at the San Diego Sports Arena. We went so crazy I was standing on my chair jumping up and down so much it broke ! I also recall we had the most beutiful girl of all the thousands at SDSU that night with us...Man those were the days. I remember the stage was just a GIANT green velvet curtain with an offstage massive fan blowing the fabric in perpetual waves.

  • disintegration is one of those albums that makes me want to kill myself. but because of it, the words and their meaning, i dont, if that makes sense. lol

  • @Antwan1500 I get it.

  • I love this too but check out Last Dance by the cure if you havent already xxx

  • all of my art projects have been about the cure <3

  • @georgewitcombvideos Mine too...just did a self portrait that mirrors this album cover.

  • This is probably/is the most important song ever written, its whole atmosphere is just genius the music is beautiful and the lyrics tell a tale of despair the bottomless pit that you just cant climb out off the fruitless ability to make things right. it always leads you back to the same point .

  • @MrPuppypups

"bottomless pit that you just cant climb out off the fruitless ability to make things right. it always leads you back to the same point "

    Story of my Life...

  • long live the cure!!!

  • tRuSt aBsOlUtElY nOoNe

  • It amazes me that so many artists get recognition for mediocre work and yet a work of atmospheric genius such as this isnt recognised for the work of beauty that it is.

  • how the end always is...

  • una de mis canciones favoritas the cure es lo maximo

  • is a masterpiece for all times

  • i only listen to this album when ...everything has gone wrong. but it makes me feel like im in the right place...

  • music for the darkest of times.......sigh

  • One of the best songs ever.

  • I went deaf listening to this. It sounds so strange now that the cilia have fallen out of my ears. I wish I could hear it as it was.

  • I don't know how I've only just heard this song now. Solidifies Disintegration (The album) as one of the best albums of all time! This song is hauntingly beautiful

  • Great Uploade!!

  • Definitely the essence of the Cure this amazing tune.

  • hey, I am a loser baby, so why don't you kill me !???

  • @portalexx go away

  • Comment removed

  • @portalexx you said it yourself dude.. why dont you kill yourself! SUKKEL!

  • you leave me with babys and everything, hoping for frequency

  • THE CURE

  • she needs the butter to put it in her ass for dropping the sky to the roof. its screaming me over and over and over !!!! How deep is you love? ;-)

  • it cuts her deep

  • and she will never break out of her cage the eye to her needle its easier for her to get closer to heaven. how the end always is. round and round and round at its coming apart to us

  • man, The Cure, just simply the best. It's like Robert Smith's voice and music sings right to my soul. I know it sounds corny, but he gets me. LOL

  • @ailorablue Not corny at all. I can totally relate; it's a shame The Cure doesn't make music anymore...

  • suits my mood....

  • too emotional when I hear this, but it hurts so good.

  • immortal.. Robert James Smith.... a living legend

  • Beauty Beauty Beauty.

  • This is one of my favorite Cure songs.

    Robert Smith #winning

  • Makes me wanna think about myself

  • the atmosphere of this song is absolutely depressive, seeps into my pores and makes me want to point a gun against my head and pull the trigger. . .

  • @sepultura1991 You missed the point then. This music is here to help us through the dark times. You have a friend in the prison.

  • 1989...Cure's first TV appearance on US TV(MTV-Just Like Heaven)...I had just bought the Love Song Single...The beginning of a beautiful 22 year relationship.

  • So its all come back round to breaking apart again. Breaking apart like I'm made up of glass again..... I love the lyrics. The whole song drips with sadness. My favorite off the album!

  • Hey can anyone tell me if this is The Cure's best album? I don't listen to them.

  • @21madmethod It's definitely one of their best. Personally I like the albums Disintegration , Faith and The Head on The Door most, but I guess it's up to you to decide on the Cure album which is the best because really it's all a matter of opinion.

  • @21madmethod This is the cure after they spent all their fuel. The early years were filled with clever emotive punk that eventually became pop funeral music for sad people; but it took everything they had to get there. The best album is arguably Seventeen Seconds - the best song is 'M' - If you want to dance gayly to a pop song, you should listen to Love Cats - it's a sad man singing about cats.

  • @DrinkingChickens Seventeen Seconds and Faith are brilliant albums but I'd say they were still good with Disintergration it still has some creativity. Head on the Door, Wish, and Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me are good pop rock albums. I'm not terribly keen on Love Cats, Lets Go To Bed and the whole The Top album....Anything after Wish is just generic.

  • @WarlockAshlii I agree with ya. Me too...I feel that way too.

  • @21madmethod It is their best album. What`s weird is it`s their most commercially successful album.

  • @jacquestres

    nope! :D I'm 12 too~ and they're amazing.

  • I`ll pull out my heart and feed it to anyone...........

  • I just saw my comment was a top comment, thanks everyone!!! I just felt like saying that cos it's how I felt. I'm sooooo happy others agree. My first top comment, yay, thanks again.

  • Boy the cure is one of the best artists out there!! Too bad they're unrecognized and somewhat under rated. Boy, music just cant get better than this! Man am i the only 12 yr old that can see that?

  • @jacquestres Dude I loved them at 12 and still love them at 15. You are not alone. You are the coolest 12 year old ever!

  • love love love

  • DISINTEGRATION IS THE BEST ALBUM IN HISTORY !!!!!

  • i miss the kiss of treachery.... fuck me!

  • I don't think I could ever thank the Cure enough for this album, as silly as it sounds, after all the bullshit in life I've been through, like bullies, assholes and heartbreaks, if it weren't for this wonderful album, I don't think I'll live, so yeah, the cure cured my life, stopped me from hating myself and suicide, The Cure is forever!

  • the cure brings back SUCh memories.

    wow, too many to describe

    emotions running wild

  • I wanna cry...

  • full of all..............that all I can say about this song

  • One of the most brilliant songs ever!

  • How the end always ends!!!!

  • Thumbs up if a South Park episode influenced you to hear there Album Disintegration!

  • I know many people who were teenagers during 80's always include this album as part of their teenage life or college days...and now that I am also a teenager and quite depressed, I drag this album as part of my teenage life and I will remember this album by the time I reach 40.

  • Thumbs up if you're here because of Colin Morgan from Merlin. :D

  • @g2lm4l Who? lol

  • @Morales148 In an interview, that awesome guy said to come here. :) Just search Colin's name into Google - he's the lead from a really popular TV show.

  • Crocodiles cry for the love of the crowd

  • this song is like a drug to me!!!

  • i like the look of the album and love the song

  • THE WORD QUINTESSENTIAL IN THE DICTIONARY SHOULD HAVE THIS SONG/ALBUM COVER BESIDE IT

  • maan that was some music!

  • best song ever

  • the cure sings songs from the heart, which is why anyone can relate.

  • would not have made it through high school without these guys, love em

  • how the ending would be, and also you didn't type the rest of the song, there's lots more, and it's very dramatic. but thanks fer posting dude/chick.

  • i mean this in a good way, there's never too much cure!
