Im actually glad to see some of the comments. That time has passed, much time, after the initial experience, without it fading. This frustrated me for a long time. I had a short experience, but the electric buzzing, and the actual seperation, scared me so much, that I was not able to go there again. I haven't either, though, Im back in meditation, and Im again getting close to similar states as back then, and I learned alot during the 12years that has passed since I had the experience I needed.

It's some sort of frequency of information.This is reality.There is no such thing as God who will send you burn in hell or take you to heaven.Energies have to be balanced and for that they have to gain experience, sometimes through physicality. Discover reality and stop believing in old books that controls humanity.
Although it was a stretch to my mind, seeing a real very cogent, sensible person discuss their experience greatly enhances my leaning. Alas I'm in England so the instate is not available to me. But I'm sure you're being truthful...even if I never share this particular experience the new paradigm of quantum reality and spirituality, and the science behind it it really life affirming. It validates all this psi experiences we have shared.

I've only had very "minor" experiences (some lucid dreaming, recalling end-stages of OOBEs, I think), and am still kind of in the "belief" (vs. the "knowing") stage. I believe you are correct, in that we normally filter out so much (so we can function "here"). There is so much more...
