The second voice is Buck the Kid Wilkins who also sang this song on his solo album, "In Search of Food, Clothing, Shelter and Sex" . It was a well arranged album with many heavy hitters from Nashville helping him. The liner notes are very revealing. It was his only solo album and very collectable with many of his original songs.

Can't say for certain, but Rodney Crowell did compose albums for Waylon, songs such as "Til I Gain Control Again." So, I think darkt3 has it probably right.

Pfizzbones....Thanks for the comment, i agree it does have that Crowell feel and he is a prolific writer of great songs, as to wether he wrote albums for Waylon is questionable if you had said BJS then i would have agreed completely , i will say i like a lot of Rodney Crowells songs ..
