  • Thank you! This was an easy-to-follow tutorial! I've never done broom-stick before...cannot wait to try this! Thank you for taking the time! (Just because I do my crochet different from you, that doesn't mean either one of us is wrong! As you said, if you enjoy it, why should it matter to others how you do it?!?) A big thank you again!

  • I really enjoy watching different ways people have of doing the same thing. I especially like the way you set up the first row. I think that's excellent. c Thanks for the video.

  • I have never seen anyone do a yarn-over with every stitch. This seems to add a huge amount of time to the process of crochet. It is much more fluid and quick if you catch the yarn with the hook instead of doing a YO at every stitch. Where did you learn to do it this way?

  • A very strange and to much work way of crochet.

  • I know we all have our own technique when it comes to crocheting...but this is the weirdest yarn over I've ever seen !!

  • @Buckleigh No one has ever accused me of being normal.

  • i wish the wool you use was light it was a little hard to see what you were doing.

but you explained it well. i was scared to try broomstick lace crochet. as i thought is would be very hard. but now thanks to you i reckon i will give it a try. a practice run first

  • Thanks. I love it. I am nervous about starting, but am ready to try. Hope to see more of you here.

  • Very nice video... a lot of people have done similar ones, but yours makes the most sense to me, I guess we share crochet style to a degree. I'm moving soon and want to make some yummy new blankies for the sofa so this is going to be the way to go. Thanks!

  • would help if you used light colored yarn....the darker the yarn the harder to see

  • awesome! didn't realize you could do different stitches above the broomstick row to make pattern..great tutorial!

  • Thanks a bunch! I appreciate your time and now I'm ready to give 'er a try = D

  • Thanks! I made a baby blanket using this stitch and a real cut broomstick when I was 15 but now I am 48. I went to make a scarf and just could not remember how to do it.

Then, I thought,"YouTube!" Sure enough, here is you instructive video.

  • I'm sorry let me explain..did you learn knitting first because I did, and I crochet just like you but not so delicate.

  • I never thought it was so easy. Thanks..by the way, it's like watching delicate dancing hands when your crocheting.

  • Absolutely INCREDIBLE! This made broomstick lace so EASY and the other GREAT thing is it is FREE! I am loving this type of crochet and have already downloaded & bought pattern books for it. THANKS!

  • WOW! Amazing. Women have always been inventive and ingeneous throughout history, haven't they? Thank you for your "tutorial". You make it seem easy!

I look forward to seeing more posts from you. Do you have a blog where your ingenuity and skill is showcased?

  • This video was excellent. You don't even really notice the quality of the video, because the verbal instruction is so precise and comprehensive. Thanks!

  • This is really cool! I want to try my luck at this. Thanks...I am saving this tut.

  • Thanks - the quality can be better - this is just a fast and dirty video. I will be posting a much better quality video tutorial very shortly.

  • I have been doing broomstick lace for years, but love your very informative.well constructed, professional and esy to understand video!
