  • how 'bout that boy?

  • that is one sweet guitar

  • excuse my spelling

  • GRETSTCH

  • While my favorite version of this song is the classic Elvis version, I love this treatment by Brian Setzer and have great respect and admiration for doing this song justice, great job! I believe this song was first recorded as "That's all Right" by Arthor "Big Boy" Crudup in 1946, and if you hear it, it's quite a contrast from the song as recorded by Elvis and others, it's definately worth a listen, a peice of music history.

  • not a class of ppl a class of music

  • Brian Created a new class Much like Elvis did

  • so did Brian

  • I heard James

  • this is the King of Rockabilly Elvis would be proud

  • Even better than James Burton

  • was heading to bed, but now im all fired up.......feet r tappen , fingers playing the desk drums... ohhh yeaaaa !!!!!!!! GOTTA JAM NOW !!!!!!!!!

  • This guy is way better than the overrated Mark Knopfler

  • @FranzBisciu This video is an example solos and rhythm playing why he is more enjoyable to listen to than the "guitar gods" - Clapton, Hendrix, SRV etc. - his playing has so much more rhythm and texture and colour to it to my ear. That's only a personal opinion though. IMHO he plays for the crowd, rather than playing for himself - that's the difference.

  • I have an 11 year old female cat named Setzer

  • We now know for a fact there are at least 24 deaf people in the world. How could you not like this stuff?

  • stand up bass SSSSSMOKIN!!!!

  • Just the best!

  • niceeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! the best_________

  • brilliant Brian the best

  • If Setzer had been around at the start of the RnR period.....Wonderful stuff!

  • wow Brian amazing music go cat go

  • Bryan este un mare chitaristiar trupa e pe masura. Basistul este exceptional!, vivace imaginativ si foarte ritmic.

O prestatie de profesionisti, pe care as dori-o si de la artistii nostri.

  • although i play drums with him

    i can if necessary

  • he's my age and I bow to him

  • I saw Brian Setzer yesterday here in Copenhagen. I have been playing a lot of guitar for many years, so I know how difficult it is to play at his level even though I will never come close to his level.

  • @ElvisStillRules definately

  • Paul is a sell out pussy he disappoints me

  • he's like a BEATLE better than Paul as good as George

  • Brian Setzer is an Icon for not only preserving these songs he knocks 'em outta the park

  • Reckon its a TV Jones Guitar rather than a Gretsch and it sounds like a baritone too....

  • @gadge1439 It is a gretsch Longhorn, baritone, with tv jones pick ps

  • Brian and Elvis both done well with this song----one of my favs

  • To say this is amazing is an under statement!

  • 21 Dislikes?!?!? What a bunch of knobs!! Obviously Britney Spears fans or similar that have taken a wrong You Tube turn!

  • I absolutely love these guy's, & as a big Elvis fan I'm often cringing when I hear his songs done by anyone else. Brian is a true atrist, & captures the spirit of the music, a fantastic tribute and treatment of this classic!!

  • @FrankoEPFan elvis didn't do the original of this, elvis is great but did a lot of covers

  • My favourite guitar player. I could listen to him for days. Such a shame Bernie Dresel and Mark Winchester are no longer with him. The 3 of them were truly fantastic together.

  • more Elvis songs have been covered than any group including the Beatles,I guarantee

  • we all like Elvis only asshole don't

  • this is tuned down to c right?

  • @allornada I think it must be, there's lots of things where he's fingering in E but it's coming out in C

  • This is class. Its the guy from the Stray Cats right?

  • fuck off with the adverts

  • the sound is too big for just a 3pc....

  • I just noticed that he's hold his pick with his pointer finger, while he finger picks,he never ceases to impress me and that's not ez 2 do,trust me!

  • @Syzygy60 Indeed, I know what you mean. I stick it between my teeth when I need to switch from pick to fingers. It´s hard enough as it is.

  • Hit It!

  • Mystery Train,did I miss it?

  • Brian Setzer, King proud of son...

love brians playing -----play this myself -scotty moores riff originally -with brians added solos its just sooo good

  • Jesus that just some great soloing by all. killing.

  • The thing I love about Brian Setzer: When he plays this song you can totally visualize a train; or when he plays Straycat Strut you imagine a cat slinking along in an alley. Gretsch guitars were made for this guy.

  • fact is mark farner and brian setzer are in the own unique categories, intersecting at greatness

  • Amazing. I love how tight their playing is. Brian's really cool to let the other guys take the spotlight too!

  • Brian rocks big time!

  • Brian Setzer is one of the best guitar players I've ever heard. These three have always been great together. By far the best version of this song I've ever heard. Keep it up Cats.

  • Cooool!!!! Love the song.

  • Bloody brilliant!!!

  • I let you ALL know..!!! I like Gene & Eddie from the same concert,,right?? It's a good song.. But the way Brian plays the GRETCH in this song is 2nd to NONE!!! This is by FAR the most rockabilly song I have EVER heard!! THIS is AWESOME, THIS IS COOL,, & I challenge ANYBODY to find a better measure for a guitar player than THIS GUY?... THIS SONG!! It's supreme guitar playing at it's best.. RIGHT??? Correct me if I'm wrong..!!! This guy & his band IS AWESOME! Justin Beber???.. FUCK OFFF!!!!!

  • I was fortunate to have seen the Stray Cats at the now defunct (?) Warner theatre in the early eighties and it remains one of the best shows ive seen before or since. Elvis still did the definitive version of mystery train though.Sacralige to say otherwise.Everybody else is just a copycat,no pun intended. Long live the king.

  • @MrJdvance doesn't it take one douche-fag to know another,I know Brian Setzer so that makes me a great guitarist, right?not necessarily, the fact that I am a great guitarist is purely coincidental

  • @shortychellet 16 justin biber fans!!! ^^

  • @schnelladonna ......Have to agree with you on that! Like I said "Dummies', hahahahahahaha

  • To rockabilly. It takes the blues out of a blues song. Good performanc tho

  • @FunkCowboy Actually, Brian and the Stray Cats went to England and got famous. There was a vast trans-migration of music in the 60's and 70's even back in the 50's (Eddie Cochran) as an example. At the time in the U.S, Blues, Rock-a-Billy etc. wasn't universally appreciated especially Heavy blues oriented music. About the time the Beatles, Stones etc. were coming to the U.S. our guys were going over there. That's were their fame really started.

  • @pilotdon50 I saw them at Tuts in Chitown back in the day... they had hits in England but dry here.... Can't Hurry Love version rocked... then Phil the Scumbag Collins ripped off their version... anyway, on the little stage in Tuts I was a few feet away... they were pounding jack daniels and rockin the joint. The long haired blonde guy from Cheep Trick was there - I shoved him outta the way going down the steep stairs to go out to get buzzed....what a night!

  • HE IS ONE REAL KOOL KAT .. THATS WHAT ROCK N ROLL IS ALL ABOUT

  • funcowboy the illuminati is on the way
